The Modified format for the 2006-2007 tournament season will consist of cards from the
following Pokémon TCG sets:

formats until the 2006-2007 tournament season, which starts on September 1, 2006.

Man i am so glad that they are going to keep salamence ex because thats one of the decks that i was making for fun and still want to play with:biggrin: Im so glad that rock lock will be gone for good and medicham ex even though medicham isnt popular now anymore

Jirachi is going to be kind of useless in T2 decks with out Swoop! Mew ex is now about the only card that can be used in 1 line T2 decks.
 
im only a collector so the only news this is to me is that POP 4 is coming out and that crystal guardians is useing that stupid set symbol. i wish they would have made a new one or used the theme deck symbols. oh well i still think that it will be the best set ever!

i never said that Jirachi would be used in T2 decks, though it of course, is. It is also used in Machamp, though, not to the full potential. it's still a great starter, but with the loss of Swoop! T2 decks will cease to exist as we know it. i guess, since i go all for speed, that i'll have to resort to Mew-trick. too bad. too bad.:frown: because i have 0 count it 0 manectric ex's:(.

Anyways, sweet news on the format. Should be interesting next year. I mean Mewtrick, Medicham, Flariados, Polistall (why hasn't anyone mentioned this deck!?!?!?!?!), will still be around. Plenty of good stuff to play. And NO LBS, NO PIDGEOT!!!

Should prove to be a very interesting format next year! Probably even better than this one in many respects!
