This almost completely obsoletes Energy Search, doesn't it? Plus, since it can get two basic Energy cards, it makes it a lot safer to play Pokemon that require multiple Energy of a specific type.

As if Energy Search wasn't obsolete to begin with....

But this is a great card, with many options, and depending on the deck, could be replacing Holon Mentor.
 
My favorite thing about Roseanne's Research is that it enables a really quick tech powerup. Examples would be Ray ex d + 1 lightning or Absol SW + 1 basic dark...everything you need in 1 shot.

Roseanne's is obviously a superior choice for Kricketune as well.

Overall just a really nice addition to the game.
