2008~Autumn Battle Roads: North Texas

Wanted to let people know (a little late and that is my fault) that there will be someone signing parking passes so that it is only $2 to park in the library garage. Also the library will be closing at 5pm and we have to be out of the building. Please understand that this means keeping to time and will be trying to make the breaks in the rounds happen as quickly as possible. I want all the players to be able to get their full playtime without any worries about the time.

Also, it would be good if the players brought some lunch with them. We will have very little time for lunch because of our limited time here.

Yes, all 3 W's have the same last name. Thanks to all who came. The Mayor was impressed with the turnout and enthusiasm of the players. Tomorrow I will try to schedule our City Tournament for the same day as our City Christmas Parade again. The parade should be longer this year as the Fire Department got another fire truck.

The Tom Bean city hall is a very nice area. I really like it =)
I'm not missing out on the city's this year.
My second favorite thing about Tom Bean is the wall of winners.

Update form the Yankee Land:

Kait came in 2nd giving her 13-2 on her BRs so far! WTG Baby Girl!

Demetre won his 2nd (Lil Sis still is one up on him!) making him 12-2 on BRs!

I went 4-1 Swiss then ended the day at 4-2 making me a whopping 10-7 overall! Not too bad for a Judge most of the time!!

Final Weekend

~Pokemon Players~

This weekend will be the last weekend of the "Autumn Battle Roads" in North Texas!!! We hit the the trail to McKinney on Saturday at "Old Settler's Recreation Center". Those of you that attended the "Spring Battle Roads" there will attest to the fact that it is a great venue. Thanks to Melissa and Ken for their help in setting this up in McKinney for us!!!

On Sunday, we move south back into Dallas at "TTI". As of now, we are four players over the limit for this event. MP Birch will post the list of players (first name/last initial) of the players that are registered on my website. <www.xanga.com/MP_Birch> Please check for your name on the list!!! If you are not attending, please "email or PM" MP Birch so that I can remove your name from the list.
