@Kabigon: The top cut will be the best 2 out of 3 rounds, with 45 minutes total. At least that's how I interpreted it.
 
Wait. The entire top cut will be 2/3 45 min? I thought it was just T128 and T64 that would make this change:

" the single game single elimination rounds are now a 2 of 3, 45 minute match instead"

"The single game single elimination rounds." T32-T2 were going to be 2/3 to begin with.

Top cuts done tonight will be 45 minute best of 3. tomorrow when they combine the masters EVERYONE will play best of 3 1 hour matches

basicly dave said they can have best of 3 tonight as long as they can still do it in there 45 minutes lol

most games will probly only have one amtch any ways unless theres a donk, so its a donk reducer

i have to say they seam to be making good time when you take the lunch break into effect.... round turn overs seam faster than last year

As for what i understand:

For masters there will be 8 rounds with top 128 en top 64 on saturday.
The swiss is single game 40/45 minutes.
The top 128/top 64 is best of three in 45 minutes.

Not only a donk reducer, but it's also great if you find out to many of your main cards are prized.
At least you can scoop and start game 2, with options to win game 2 and 3.

We have used best of 3 for a long time in most European countries, (except at States/Nationals it was not allowed) And all I know I hate gameplay more than anything else.
Best of 3/45 minutes should be the standard (even if it would mean you play 1 round swiss less for bigger events).
