Are we going to have a decent card anytime soon?

Decent HP, bad weakness, okay resistance, terrible retreat cost, terrible attacks.
No reason to use this card over something else.

2/10

IF you dare to use it I suppose you will choose it because of combustion, which is a regular attack that deals 50 for a fire and a DCE... and I will assume you are using ho-oh as a tech and because you ran out of cards and the only options you had were either this ho-oh or an umbreon prime without an eevee :p

Decent weakness... wretched retreat cost... resitence would be helpful if Machamp cared. Attacks aren't anything special, and I suppose when Emboar comes out this card would be... something. I don't think it's awful enough to score below 4/10, as when paired with the right cards it can at least use its attacks.

10/10 This card might not win you any games but you can probably sell it for enough to buy lunch and any card that puts food in my stomach deserves a 10/10

I am SOOOOOOO glad we have cards like this posted to review. Some people out there look to the people who play and understand the game to reach out and give our feedback to advise and educate those curious about what to add as a staple, tech, or main focus of a deck. For anyone who is serious about the game and is thinking to themselves "hmmmm.....I wonder what I can do to make this an absolute win deck". I am here with the support of countless users to direct you to the path of victory.

To make this card work you have to do these things in order.
Look at the card carefully and study it's attack and energy cost. Now while it's in your hand tear it in half and trash it. Look in your binder and try to find a card that is in NO WAY like this one. If you cant' find one you might want to mow the yard tomorrow for some scratch to buy some boosters next time you're around the comic shop for better luck in getting a card with better attacks (if not cheaper, I mean that), a suitable pokepower/pokebody, and a decent retreat cost.

Card designers are just like republicans. Only doing it for the money.

How about selling the card and buying more cards with the money?

Yesterday's CotD was Ho-Oh from CL...well considering it's from CL, at least we know not to expect it to be good I suppose? Statwise 100 HP is great for a Basic, x2 Weakness to :water: is meh, -20 Resistance to :fighting: is good, and :colorless::colorless::colorless: to Retreat is pricey. Combustion is overpriced at :fire::colorless::colorless: for a mere 50, and Scorching Wing is both overpriced and risky at :fire::fire::fire::colorless::colorless: for 100 and a 50/50 chance of losing all :fire: Energy on Ho-Oh.

Modified - 1/10 (Another lame CL card, what can you say? Overpriced and inefficient attacks on an otherwise big Basic)
Limited - 6/10 (Well it's a big Basic...but I'd honestly rather trade it away for a high price)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here, horrible horrible attacks that you'll never even get to use thanks to ER and SER)

although this card is not very good for modified it was incredible at the prereleases since it is a basic with decent (for a prerelease ) attacks and a resistance to all those hitmonlees everyone was playing.
