300 HP Black Kyurem-EX

My favorite part about this is that both of these EXs are STILL bad, even with this ridiculous support.

For everyone suggesting tool scrapper: what of this isn't a tool? It's being mentioned as a New gameplay mechanic.
Even if it isn't a tool, Black and White Kyurem EX are bad. Rayquaza EX easily 1 shots them, while they don't easily 1 shot Rayquaza back (they are both difficult to set up in comparison to Rayquaza). Garchomp almost always 2 shots them. Hydreigon 2 shots them and can even 1 shot them with a PlusPower.

Basically, Dragon weakness + bad/difficult to manage attacks make the Kyurem EXs bad. Tool Scrapper working or not on these new cards is irrelevant, honestly.

The fact that this is even possible is troublesome. Oh how I miss the days where you had to attach 24 psychic energy to a Sabrina's Gastly to even match this sort of HP.

I completely disagree. We don't even know what format it is yet. If we took all the numbers in Pokemon and multiplied them by 3, it's still mathematically the exact same game. As long as the cards released around the time when the Kyurem EXs are released have comparable strength, there should be nothing wrong.

I remember back in 2004 when people were speculating how Rare Candy on turn 1 would be troublesome and bad for the game. Well, it turned out to be not so bad after all. Also, remember all the people that said the presence of Lostgar was troublesome? They were wrong as well.

Just because something is new, it doesn't mean that it's bad for the game. It's more prudent to reserve your judgment until you know more about the future metagame.

Prepare to run to run tool scrapper in every deck. Not that it will already still be a staple. Hydreigon. however will still cause this problems.

Old Rare Candy was easilly the most troublesome card in recent years, and I hope with my dying breath that it never returns. Why do you think we had turn 1 restrictions? Remember Kindra LA? Not to mention stage 2's with very powerful poke powers/bodys.

And yet people are now saying that Rare Candy should return to make Stage 2s playable... It's an endless loop of complaining.

No-one even knows how good this Kyurem EX will be, and the complaints are already rolling in.

we already know what black kyurem ex and white kyurem ex do. Many think they are mediocre/bad.

First people see a blurry scan of a card. Then they start complaining that the card is overpowered. Next they declare that the overpowered card is unplayable. At this point, they start finding ways to tech against a blurry scan of a card that may or may not be underpowered and/or broken. This causes everyone else on the board (myself included) to start complaining because the first group of people is complaining again. They're doing all of this before the biggest event of the year, US Nationals. Heck they're doing this before the expansion before the expansion that this broken underpowered card will possibly be released in has even been printed in english!

Apparently the clause says you can only play one of those crystal trainers in your deck.

I don't think I can post a link, but it was on "Papa seedot"'s blog, the one that was used to gather info for the japan battle carnivals, so it seems credible.

Not the kind of drawback I was hoping for. At least being unsearchable and unrecoverable by reliable methods helps.

It is a fun little gimmick but seriously I don't think it is anything to freak out about, dragon weakness will make these cards either barely playable or not at all ! So no worries people !
