Oh, folks who haven't called the store ahead of time to prereg--the store can hold 48 before we have to do drastic things. Cary should be in house around 10 so feel free to call at (804) 276-PLAY (7529) someone will let you know where you are on the list. There may be no shows, so don't despair if you are at number 50 or so. I THINK we can fit everyone, but no promises, since it's not my store!!

48 today in Midlo blows the record here out of the water. Battle Road attendance in VA has been CRAZY!! (Harrisonburg and VA Beach, you're on deck!!)

These 5/6 round swiss master's rounds at Battle Roads are insane, but we did have 2 4-1 players yesterday not make the cut.

I have been reminded to ask anyone going Saturday to Harrisonburg who has an extra chair or two to please bring them!! The store is bigger than it used to be, but they do a lot of stand-up wargaming. Bring a chair so you can sit!!!

Re: chairs... I remembered that Warrenton was short on chairs from last prerelease, so I'm glad I stacked my 4 extras against the front door Friday night; they were definitely needed, and also glad I kept 'em in the truck for BR Midlothian. Turnout for Battle Roads is CRAZY! :eek:

PS: Thanks to everyone who played in the afterdrafts in Warrenton and Midlothian, and to Alex Dickens who offered to play so we could get to the magic minimum. :thumb:

Yeah....the Harrisonburg location is now a little easier to find, and is larger than it used to be! Hoping our turnout will be pretty good, seeing as everyone else's has been amazing. And since the store has relocated, it is currently suffering from a chair shortage. Hope to see everyone there!

Hope you all had/are having a good BR season. A big hello from Indy. We miss you all. ShadowCard/Totoro, you'll be happy to know Forbes juniors you all trained so well are 13-2 this season in 2 BR with their only losses coming in sibling matches. Can't wait to hear how cities go there. Ttyl

Thanks to all of the players for making this the BEST Virginia Battle Roads ever!! We smashed attendance records for a Battle Road series and I am thrilled to be your PTO. Special thanks to the most dedicated judge team anywhere--I do hope that you know that it's you guys who put Virginia Pokémon on the map!

Hey, I get a weekend off now!! Plan on attending the Triumphant prereleases beginning on the 23rd, and let's set another record!!!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our store today. It was a great event that seemed to flow quite smoothly. For those who don't know me reading I was the male judge at the event.

Hopefully we'll see some faces again come Prerelease weekend in two weeks!
