A better solution to dice

Loaded Dice Paranoia Solution

Both players roll a dice at the same time. Take the total of the rolls to be even/odd, head/tail

It is impossible to cheat this outcome unless both players are using loaded dice! Since both players are paranoid, they will both use unloaded dice.

Well i was looking at this idea a bit closer and i thought of a bit better way for multiple coin flips. First reveal the top card of your deck if its heads take a tales card out of your deck and visa versa. I know its a bit slow.

So you draw one, flip the deck over and search it for a card, shuffle sufficiently, draw another, flip the deck over and search it for a card, shuffle sufficiently, etc, etc, etc? I hope to god no one ever uses Sawk...

Please listen to us when we tell you this is a TERRIBLE idea.

Hey i just thought of a better idea than this idea. The problem with this idea is the problem of clumping. Show your oppoent four face down cards or more and let him choose witch one to get.

That'd be significantly more fun than rolling a die, I admit, but it opens the door to mind games just like TGW did.

Well its not 50/50 though victory bell. Okay this is what i thought of you shuffle your deck you put the bottom card on tabel face down then you choose the oppisite card to it then you let your oppent decide witch one is heads.

quite discouraging to come here and see threads like this. :(

pliskin, if you're serious you're wrong. there are many reasons, all of which can be found by something as simple as googling "why do I flip tails so much?" if you're just trolling, please consider how much time you're wasting (both yours and everyone else's) by coming here and doing what you do. there are many people who come here to do the opposite of what you do: they try to legitimize this forum and make it resourceful to others. whether you intend it or not, threads like this and that whole AR Gengar biz undermine so many people whose intentions are good.

again, if you're serious, please think (maybe do a bit of research). then post.

why not just have 2 cards?

one heads, one tails, and just really shuffle them (without looking) after each use.

A double dice roll with one from each person would be fantastic. The only downside would unfortunately be something like triple the rate of dice being lost.

I flipped 9 Tails on "find a friend" last night playing Mewbox.. I'm not crying. I did complain alot.

Oh and just for good measure, I used different dice and coins for many of those flips. The "heads/tails" deck, like many have said would accomplish nothing. It would just be a more complicated version of flipping a coin or rolling a die.

I think you just rolled a TRIPLE TAILS on stardust song and came here to rage :p

wonder how much it would cost to get a nice clear die in one of those trouble board games dice randomizers

This is your choice to be on this post or not you dont hafe to be on this you guys make such a big deal out of this. And i have looked at this closely like i said in my post las vegas hase special dice tomake sure its 50/50 and i see people get tails ten times in a row.I think im just going show them two cards and they choose clumping is anoying with this idea.

If you're bouncing the die in your hand accordingly as you're supposed to anyway, then it should be random as it is and the weight shift shouldn't pose as much of a difference either way.

Then why not just buy one of these dice - it would save a lot more money than buying 80 cards & 80 sleeves... :/

If its "random" then CLUMPING IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO HAPPEN!!!

Oh wow....

You make a lot of assumptions. One assumption you make is that it's impossible to flip 10 tails in a row on a random die. I assure you, by the true nature of randomness, you could recieve a perfectly balanced die from the US Governemet and lock yourself in a room and flip tails for the rest of your life. Is tht likely? No. Does it proove randomess? Yes.

Instead of ignorning what people are saying, do some reseach on stats and probability.

Can you at least explain how 80 sleeved cards is better than, say, 40?

While you're at it, can you at least explain how 40 sleeved cards is better than, say, a coin?
