Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

A long detailed 2nd place Worlds experience

Oh, and I had the most entertaining opponent in round 8 of anyone in the tournament. I was playing Eric Perimenter, the guy who kept shouting "Shuffle and Cut.com for all your ccg needs!"

Spaz-Thanks for the most rogued deck comment. It would be great to play you again, that was a very interesting game against your Articunos and other techs I wasn't expecting.
Jaeger- I know Sebastian (GrandmaJoner) received by mail all of the decks and his wasn't even being made. (He was just top 4 a year ago) So I assume if they make mine I will get a copy.
Jeremy-How about you make a Mac friendly apprentice instead  Either way cya next year for sure.
Kettler-It was definately a western showdown. Moss was just acting in character. :thumb: Great meeting you.
Wooper-I am glad to be the Pokegym tourney report length champion until yours at Worlds 06.
APT (other Jeremy)-Thanks my former padwain. :thumb:
Blizzard-Thanks man. All the judging was great all day, A+ to you and every other judge I came across.
Sdrawkcab-Thanks for recognizing the 'awsomeness' of my deck lol.
Martin-I'm sure the 1-1 lines should be questioned at first, but I tested with them and they did work. I was nervous at different times but never while playing in a game, ever. My mind controlled the games, not my emotions imo.
Nick-Thanks a lot Nick. I'll definately see you next year and am looking forward to it.
Paul-Thanks Paul, you had quite a good tournament season as well imo. Glad to be able to talk to you nearly every week.
Sebastian-Thanks, hopefully will see you a few times before next worlds this year.
afirule-Thanks for the props, really I was hoping some people would see some of those aspects of the game I used, knowledge of opponents, knowledge of how different decks work. IMHO, these are some aspects of the game I use effectively that not as many others do. Good players know how to play their own deck. Great players know how to play their own and their opponents deck.
Wes-Thanks, you were half right with Monarchy lol. R u 15+ next year? If not your gonna dominate. Even if you are you'll do well, see ya next year.
Gordon-Thanks, I was really glad to re-meet you at worlds. You are one of the few people who was there and can truely agree with me on just how crazy that Friday night was. I couldn't even say all the details of that night lol.
Matt-Thanks, I believe I acknowledged your heroic medicinal delivery in my report. Ttyl.

Way to go Ross! I played you totally wrong. Your "surprise-1-of-everything" deck was the bomb! Man, if I'd only scouted you, I would've played you differently. Probably Megashot your Magcargo to stop the top-decking I let you do for those first few turns. Actually, I was hoping for an Admin while disconnecting you. Then Megashot your Magcargo or Pupitar after admining you. Maybe blow up a Trode before you too so your Scrambles and POWs wouldn't work (like I did in our rematch at the Gazebo). Oh well. Your deck was a better matchup for you against me, and gets my vote as the "craziest" deck in T32 Hey, it beat Yamato!

Pleasure meeting you. Till we meet again. Congrats!

Nope I get another year :D Half of the competition from 11-14 is moving up so yeah x)

FYI, but Jeremy's report totals only around 8,000-ish words, when INCLUDING his player history. Way to go Ross!

I didn't include the player history, because it's separate from the report, really. It comes to 3,000 some odd words, I believe, without the player history.

btw, Ross.

VOID.
