Thanks for the update. Where was the first city for the deck?
Your welcome! I played this at New Holland in Pennsylvania. I will be going to more, I'll continue to update! I'm tempted to play Absol instead of Weavile since that combo was so successful, but I like it the way it is. I think that deck just had a good day. Did you play this deck?

Wow, and I thought my Blissey/Absol deck was a SD.. >_>
Apparently not .

can someone tell me how absol and blissey works
There really isn't much synergy as far as I'm concerned, but it works because of two principals:
1) Blissey is a powerhouse with lots of HP and damage out out
2) Discarding cards is Absol's specialty. I don't know if you can understand, but loosing up to two cards from your hand can HURT! Especially if they hit the right ones.

Team Dimension was in the House!
Apparently!

What do you guys think, should I remove my two Quick Balls for two Absol SW? I've been convinced that the thing is a certified beast. You see, the cool part about Weavile is that it doesn't just have to attach its energy to one specific Pokemon. They may be attached in any way that you like; i.e. one could go to a Blissey, the other to a Absol! Then I attack with Absol for a few turns until I faint or retreat. This puts that energy that was attached to him into the discard! Yay! More power for Blissey! Okay, next I start sweeping with Blissey. Plus you can't forget about Absol's other attack, Raid. That could be useful later in the game for an instant comeback! Drop one Special Darkness Energy onto it and 50 Damage out of nowhere!

More things that I found through my "testing" at the tournament was that Cessation Crystal doesn't have a major impact on the deck, Drake's Stadium is worthless, and Team Galactics Wager was never in my hand meaning I never wanted to use it. (Despite never drawing into it the whole game, I had the opportunity to use Castaway to get it.) Castaway and the Strength Charms worked magic too.

So... Absol? Please give reasons why or why not! Thanks!

Absol is insanely good.

There are still a few power driven decks out there (things that use Delcatty, Meganium d, Flygon d, etc.) and Cess can sometimes really help against them if you get it early.

Also, SSU can be really nice against Gallade if they use the first attack or fail to be able to get the OHKO with the second.

Absol is currently better than Blissey, lol!

I LOVE (!) my Gallade/Gardevoir deck (I call it People), but I've decided that I HAVE to play something with Absol in order to win. (That's why I came up with Blissey, Ambipom is too weak and Honchkrow doesn't cut it)

I say do it, just because it's soooooooooooo good.

Alright! I added two Absol!
Now, what do I do with those worthless Drake's Stadium? I was thinking of replacing them with Windstorm!
What about Team Galactic's Wager? Is that a keeper? Why or why not? I was thinking about adding another Absol in its place.

Here is what I found out about my metagame yesterday, NOBODY played Mario, which is cool! I saw one Ramen TRUK and two Gallade decks. I saw a few random rouges that were not good, and R-Gon. At my next tournament, I expect to see many Blissey variants, specifically Absol, and a couple Gallade/Gardevoir decks, and that would basically be it! I try to keep this in mind when I make changes to the deck.

And thanks for the support everybody! I really appreciate it!

Add Sableye if Blissey will be big.
Thanks for the suggestion! I did it!

Alright! I just finished a major update to post number one! Check it out! The deck could still use some refinement! The new question: SHOULD I SWITCH TO USING GALLADE from Blissey and Weavile? Please explain why or why not, this would be a BIG change to the deck though. (Check Round 1 of tournament number two for detailed reasons on what makes it a good idea) As always, I'll read all suggestions and seriously consider all ideas! Thanks for your time!

EDIT: And I forgot to mention the other updates to post number one. I added clickable links to scans of all of the cards in the deck on the list. I also revised the Strategy and added a statistic on how often this deck mulligans. Enjoy!

If you have the cards, make two separate decks, if not you could try out Gallade in order to see which deck you like best. However, if you're running short on time (meaning the tournament is soon) then you should just play this since you know most of the in's and out's of the deck. However, I think it might also depend on your meta.

also deck name idea from looking at link I see:
ABsoL + bLISSeY + WeAvilE

thus it can go like:
So...Be Evil?
or
SO! BE EVIL!

or another that just came to mind: un-BeWeavable!
yeah, I like that last name best :thumb:

Thanks gengrr!

Those are some creative titles! I think I don't think I'll be able to get a Gallade deck together by Sunday, but I'll work on it! I'm currently gathering Gallades! I have one, I bought one, and I'm trying to win another by bidding (low ).

hi, i'm a newbie here. just to ask regarding Weavile's 1st attack, can it search for special darkness energy and also dark-metal energy? just curious, hope someone can help me here. thanks

You will never need more than 2 Gallades, if you are planning on making only 1 deck with them.
Good point. I was hoping to focus the deck on Gallade, and not so much Gardevoir. But I guess I'll test out 2 Gallade 1 Gardevoir SW.

Weavile can search for Special Darkness Energy and Basic Darkness Energy only. The reason why it isn't able to attach anything else like Multi Energy, Rainbow Energy, Dark-Metal Energy, Double Rainbow Energy, etc., is because those energy only provide Darkness type WHILE IN PLAY. That means, while they're in your deck, they don't count as Darkness Energy since they aren't "in play". But Special/Basic Darkness Energy provide darkness regardless of their location. Glad to help you! :thumb:

very cool and fun tourn article :)

If u gonna use gallade the line should be in my opinion 3-1-3 or 4-2-3-2 Gallade/Gardevoir SW

Thank you!

-1 Sableye

+ 1 Absol or Sneasel
I think I like the Absol starts more than the Sneasel ones. I guess I'll remove one Sableye CG like you said. TSD can just be used to get the Sableye back when needed. Thanks!

I don't think I'd change this thread to a Gallade/Absol (or Gallade/Furret, which is growing in popularity here), but if I do post a list, it will be on a different thread since it would wreck all of the tourney history with the deck, as well as my incredibly long strategy. But I'll continue to update this thread with fixes since I am sure there is still a lot of interest in this deck, considering that it has over 1,950 page views .

Thanks for the support everyone!
