Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

AMU signifcance?

Yes it does.

But drop a Milotic GE active and you've got just some expensive pieces of paper.

I was thinking about that, then I realized that Milotic's attack was so bad that youd be stupid to run it. lol

Also don't forget I could KO it with a simple tech line.

Keep in mind Japan has IFDS, and AMU probably wont do to well once that set is out. Dp-LA format it does very well.

I know IFDS probally killed this deck in Japan, but what i'm trying to say is I still see bronzong being played this format and I think he's a major threat for this deck. I think you can count on a few bronzong/froslass or bronzong cresselia decks this season.

I don't see bronzong doing to well this yr. What made him so good was the ability to put him out there, spread, and let your opponent activate your scramble. With out scramble I'm just not so sure about it.

I fail to see how they "ko you back after you kill one of their pixies". If you killed a Lv.X, which is the likely scenario, their only possible way to get a killing blow off is to promote a basic version of the same pixie that was already on your bench, level it up, retreat for mespirit Lv.X, and God Blast them. And if they have any possible way to kill another pixie without too much trouble (many decks have no problem doing that), you're pretty dead.

Isn't Mewtwo LvX pretty bad news for AMU? Seeing as it can't be hurt by a basic. Mightyena is touble too. AMU can't attack retreat (so much for Mespirit MT) or use Poke Powers and it does 30 for 1 dark (or Multi). Then there is Dusknoir it may not be too hard to get the 3 LvX out but keeping them out is another matter entirely. AS far as hit points are concerned even with Snowpoint (and other decks will play counter stadiums) AMUs hit points are not very beefy.

Mewtwo Lv.x is a joke.

Mightyenia is a pain but easy to play around.

AMU runs 4 warppoint.

GL ever setting up well enough to get a dusknoir out. If you get set up that well the odds are in your favor with out the dusknoir. lol

notice how he had no awnser to mewtwo lv.x....thats because there IS no awnser to it.
you devote so much search to consistently getting out the 3 pixies then it all fails when they drop mewtwo x.
mewtwo lv.x is a great card, pixies dont have an awnser.
pixies just arent playable right now.

The deck EASILY counters mewtwo if you have a good list. Mewtwo is quite easily the worst Lv X in the set since it has one purpose which is to counter fairies and it manages to utterly fail at that ONE task...

You really shouldn't need the big waste of space known as Mewtwo Lv.X to beat AMU. Any consistent, moderate to high damage dealing deck should easily be able to put down enough smack. (Empo, Kingdra, Magnezone, etc)

I didn't give an answer because of how obvious the techs for it are. >_>

With you it's always 'Oh, isn't it obvious?' or 'It's super secret, you'll all see MWAHAHA' . . Seriously, we don't need posts like that on the Gym, it does nothing but prove people's points when they talk smack about the board.

Mewtwo Level X is a MILD threat at most, I'll agree with that. A simple warp, or a tech line(Froslass) could take care of it. Though like stated previously, anything with beefy HP and nice damage outputs can take down the pixies. And I'm sad to say this, but Kingdra beats it completely with no questions asked. Don't argue against it, that's like arguing that Plox was dominated by Hurricane this whole season.

Mewtwo is the worst level X the game has seen because of it attack's non-synergy with the new format. The Body is great but beatable even with a "Decent" list. Those who have either tested or are non-believers BR's are coming and you will find out in due time. Will it rule BR's absolutely not in fact I think it is a stretch to think any one deck will, but will it win? YES probably a few to "possibly" many however because of the lack of abundant "skill" players  not many lists will win.

In closing I would like to challenge those oppossing AMU to come to the first BR's with Mewtwo X teched :nonono: and get owned not only by AMU but by other decks because you gave up valuable real estate to avoid a deck that you cannot.

Can I get an AMEN? Woot! Go AMU! :thumb::lol:

I watched at least 3 AMU decks play at League Play at worlds. I can say that it is not hard to get all the pixies out at once, apparently, but even then, it doesn't do great. I was really not impressed. I tihnk there are many faaaaaaarrrrrr better cards in this set and IFDS.

Like Machamp. 1 Fighting energy, you're knocked out.

Feh, Pixies shmixies. I played two AMU decks in a league tournament and they were just fodder for my Garchomp deck. Snowpoint doesn't help when I have a Psychic energy on ol' chompster, and even for most decent attackers (Leafeon, Blissey), quick work is made of them. Yeah, it's a fast deck, but with a lot of heavy hitters out there, not a lot can be done when you're overwhelmed by sheer power.

Only the very worst AMU would ever lose to Chomp. :/

Seriously just think about it for a second. lol

If they had a azelf Lv X in play you would only do 70 because they would then have no weakness

A good pixie list can win A LOT of match-ups Even with a good list the deck still will not reach Tier 1 potential there are just SO many better cards in the format.
