Any news on blaziken ex, sceptile ex, and swampert ex?

A lot of the points you guys brought up the last few posts is why I think Rayquaza ex will still be the main attacker since you really need the ohko of ANYTHING. Blaziken ex can't ohko most other exs. Both you will need Blaiziken RS to take out Wobuffet. I wouldn't say BAR variants will be top 8s everywhere but Blaziken variants. Blaziken/Rayquaza ex I think is the best but not everyone plays Ampharos exp and it isn't always needed. (yes I have been testing this deck A LOT, mostly to try to beat it.) You can definitely have Blaziken/Ex/Rayquaza/Delcatty with or without Ampharos. Thats probably only adding 2 Blaziken ex to the current BAR deck. The deck does work even with all the pokemon even with Amphy. I don't know about worlds since the format can change from different sets but this deck WILL be in top 8s everywhere for cities or anything else atleast until some cards come out that change the format again. The deck by many people's accounts is the best right now and I would have to agree. Every new deck I have thought of I start by testing against this and Blaziken is just so consistant and dominating. (Need Fossil Muk :D )
 
I do have to agree with Kyogre. You are going for speed in most decks. Sure you can get out one stage 2, but without ampharos on the bench, and a blaziken on the bench, the most you can do with blaziken EX will be 200. And your opponent won't put gardevior active when your EX is active. That would just be stupid. So they get out on gardevior that can rox boxors and the BAR players have to get out 2 blaziken, a blaziken EX, and a ampharos for the deck to work. Add in the fact that if you don't evolve first turn, I will just desert shaman your evolutions back into your deck. Shaman totally 0wns dunsparance. But on my side, I can place a wobbuffet out and blaziken EX can't even attack it. So in two turns, it takes 200 damage, and it is dead and I get two prizes. I just realized that blaziken can hit anything for 100, but see that works for one turn. First you have to have blaziken and ampharos out just for it to get powered up fast.

I dunno, I thought yesterday I didn't like the deck. But I gave it a try, now I am back to my old opinion. I think the deck just will not work in this modified. It doesn't matter who you played and beat, it matters if you come in first at the world championships. If you do, then I will bow to you my friend.
 
so wat is the verdict will blaziken be playable or not ?

i played with him in the japanesse version knowing of his atks and all and against the poeple i played it worked really well just want to know if he will be worth playing in magma aqua which is the most likley realase date ?

oh and i think hes winning between swapert and sceptile not much discussion on those lol

You were playing Blaziken EX in an unlimited deck if I remember correctly, with DCE and everything. I hope it did well.
 
Mudkip: At the point where I posted that I had a friend over and my 'little argument' with venusaur made me mad so i told my friend to just tell venusaur how we think of blaziken- so that wasn't actually me. Nevertheless, as I look back at my posts and then yours- I need to apologize to venusaur for jumping at him and will not judge you- as i did the same thing.
 
btw guys blaziken ex will be the most broken crap ever i dont think for one minute kingdra nor awampert can match up to its speed if you get a sparce first turn with blaz its gg i dont remember losing with bar unless im playing venasaur beacause it was his idea im still workin on that one
 
Ok, basically, Jermys 100% right lol. Blaziken EX is insanely broken. You KO whatever they have with Rayquaza EX, than OOPS, as they try to rebuild...Blaziken EX anything they have. Blaziken Rayquaza IS the best deck currently HANDS DOWN. Tech in 1-2 Blaziken EX and it becomes even MORE broken. Your not WEAKENING it, your just giving it a HUGE bonus, you know, such as, KOing Rayquazas on the bench...KOing opponents Blazikens on the bench...as in KOing any non EX Pokemon one hit...which will be dealt with swiftly in the form of a Rayquaza if it is promoted.

Also, Kingdra EX DOES usually beat Blaziken, like 80-20, maybe a bit less if its BAR as Amphy hurts alot. Blaziken is ALREADY the top deck by a rather large margin, this will only make it worse.

And the Sceptile is not a bad card either. Im kind of liking it being tossed into Sceptile Tech. Swamperts pretty bad though lol.

However, I'm going to have to agree with fulop. No one ever said that blaze ex had to be the main attacker, not when you have so many other weapons to attack with, blaziken swarms and rayquazas (I wonder if ninetales would work better in this case against wobuffett), are enough to gain that early advantage, since that rayquaza can OHKO everything, then use blazi ex as a cleaner.
