Arceus Tins...more money and more packs

It doesn't mean that at all. The extra money goes towards the extra pack you get.
 
Does anybody else know what the other 2 Lv X tins are going to be? Hopefully, it's going to Gengar Lv X and Salamence Lv X

There's only supposed to be one tin this time around. Arceus and only Arceus. Kinda sux a lil, but oh well ._.

Got an SV, LA, and 3 Arceus packs.

I'd take pictures but my girlfriend's out of town for a couple days and the cameras are all at her place.

I bought one at Wal-Mart for $15, because they didn't have the right price tag too :)
 
The Arceus poster box promo is DP 50. This tin's promo is DP 53. Seems to me that there might in fact be 2 more tins out there.... somewhere. :biggrin:
 
I got my tin free! It was marked $17.94 and rang up as $19.94. I told the lady it was mismarked and she gave it to me free. Saw another employee run over and start removing the $17.94 price tag. Kinda wished i had grabbed more tins lol.

That will raise the value of the Lv X. If the Tin Lv X ratio has been increased per amount of Booster Packs that makes it more rarer since less tins will be purcahsed since they have a higher price, and those people who buy multiples of tins may buy less this time.
 
If you can get it for $15-17, that's a good deal... maybe I'll try the 'oh wow it was mismarked!' thing lol.

I don't think 1 booster pack and 1 POP pack extra should make the MSRP go up by $5...your thoughts?

I don't think so either. POP packs to me are basically worthless crud. PUI must think it makes the price go up by $5 though because at target and wal mart they have tons of blister packs with 1 foil promo, 1 POP back and 1 booster for $5...

Poke Beach has had this for awhile. There's supposed to be poster boxes soon that are $18 for 5 packs of JUST Arceus boosters (plus normal arceus promo, plus oversized Arceus card). Sure, you don't get the X, but 5 packs of a good set like Arceus > 3 Arceus packs (yay!), 1 POP pack (BOO!) and 2 random ones (Supreme Victors... garbage). Look at poke beach if you don't believe me I'm too lazy to post the link.

Side note: Out of all the 'random packs' they have in tins, why the heck do I NEVER get GE packs? >__< It's always LA or SF...

In the USA tin is the plastic insert that holds the boosters extra deep? and does it say on the back of the tin that there are five pokemon packs inside?

Our Walmart had tins for $19.99, luckily someone forgot to peel the $17.98 sticker off one and when my sister grabbed the one without the sticker I took it from her and handed her the one with the sticker. When we went to pay they tried to charge us the $19.99, but I told the guy that there was a sticker on there that said it was $17.98 and he charged us the lower price instead hehehe.

You would think that the cashier would notice something like that....

They also have a couple of different poster boxes as well. One has a poster & a promo Arceus with 3 Arceus packs & a POP pack (or 2) sort of similar to that Best Buy thing they had when Platinum came out for the DS. They also had a poster box with a huge card of the same promo Arceus and the small version + 5 packs of Arceus as well.
 
BTW just looked at Target again, and the 3 pack blisters are out.
The 3rd booster is Mysterious Treasures (hey at least it is a legal set still, unlike Supreme Victors version which had Dragon Frontiers...)

The Promos are Cressellia & Darkrai, which have PokeBodies that activate when the other Pokemon is in play.

They also seem to have improved the packing methood slightly, and are using hot glue to hold the packs on the card (so it is harder to steal them I would guess).
 
I just got one and pulled a Gengar X. I brought the issue of the tins not being released yet to the attention of the manager and they are going to investigate the issue. So you might want to buy them while they still are on the shelf because they might pull them off the shelves and put them back on the proper release date.

The tins come with 3 Arceus Packs, 1 Supreme Victors Pack, 1 Legends Awakened Pack, 1 POP 9 Pack. IMO the spread is nice a variety of good sets.

Ours were priced at the MSRP of $19.99 so it came out to $20.98 with sales tax of 5%

I also saw DP52 Darkrai but had no price. Also saw the Jumbo Promo with the regular Promo plus 5 Arceus Packs plus the poster with no price listed.
