For once I'm going to actually agree with prime. Rayquaza is still the main attacker in the deck, the blazi serves as your cleaner afterward.

I'd say you need to rely on rayquaza more than blaziken EX to do the damage.

Um...didn't you just say a few posts before this that "who would want to play Niniken or BAR when Blaze EX dominates all? Try to get what you think in line with what you type.

Because if rayquaza goes down, its just a basic, but if a stage 2 goes down, that is countless turns of evolving wasted.

Countless turns? First turn you SARS for Torchic, second turn you candy. That simple. How is that countless turns? Simple answer: It Isn't! One, Two! Two turns.

You're going to need four blaziken, and I don't really care that other people will say, "but that's six pokemon evolving from 4 Torchic", you need four blaziken so you can start getting setup by turn two and not having to wait until turn three or four to get a Blaziken out. Discard the other two with TVR. Prizes are always an issue.

I'd rather only have one Blaziken EX and four Blaziken w/ Firestarter. The deck isn't focused around Blaziken EX, Rayquaza EX is still the main attacker! Just adding one and praying that it isn't in your prizes should do, since when he's KOd that's two prizes, and you'll be attacking w/ ray EX or Blaziken the rest of the time.

I think Ampharos and Aqua's Manectric are both good cards, but not necessary. They are very big helps, but when the new format comes out, and Ampharos is gone, I'm not sure I'll play Aqua's Manectric. I may just play switch instead, and warp point. They're good enough for me, and versetile. Or you can just retreat, you only lose two energy, and Energy Recycle System will become the substitue (sorta kinda not really) for TV/Fisherman.

Anyways, keep arguing, it's very entertaining.
