Cursegar WAS the play - props to you for rocking it. Your version has a lot more sustainability next format than mine did. Tric is key.

Wow, I can't believe you didn't play a single Luxchomp all day! That's actually quite surprising. Congratulations on the win!

Well played young man, well played.

You are on a roll. Keep it going!

Congrats to you - your hard work paid off.

Its not a tourist trap Aylam..... more like heaven! Im typing in the lobby of our hotel, feeling the 78 degree wind breeze through. It's fantastic. So is winning 2 states and a regional with like 1 loss. Good job man! Kinda happy to see my zong tech show up in someone's cursegar deck... I was beginning to think it wasnt catching on.

I'm sorry I wasn't there to see it all, or test my chance at winning it all myself( I was convinced I was meant to win after that insanely lucky swiss I had).... but on the bright side it gave me a ton of points anyways and I'm basically set for a worlds invite w/o needing nats. Who knows, maybe I'll have a miracle and get myself to worlds.

Good job again, keep playing that way and winning will stay easy.

Box of fail: Yeah if it weren't for tric you would have creamed me.
Cmak: There were only like 2 in seniors.
Poke-Daddy: Thanks.
Paz-er: Thanks.
Bellawesome: The zong was awesome, it won me all the games against dos.

....you sweep, i stay up till 2 AM the night (well...day before) not knowing what to play and end up going 2-4...well, i've been getting used to this. as i said before, you're an animal that can't be caged, i'm expecting you to top in nats again and most likely worlds too (you better not make me wrong!!)

...actually, it's not. NE is easily the most uncompetitive region in the US, from what I've read of other regions (i'm from NE). People will go into regionals with **** like Arceus expecting top cut.

Good job to the OP tho. :)

^SO not true. We have many, many players that do very well at Nats and Worlds. Last year alone, we had Aylam (National Champ), Thomas (8-0 Nats), Nathaniel (3rd Nats, 9th Worlds), Noah (3rd Nats), Aaron (7-0 Nats, T8 Worlds), and the year before, while I wasn't playing as competitively, I know that Dylan won Worlds and Gino won Nats, then got 3rd at Worlds.

Luxchomp =/= Competitive, necessarily. Arceus beats Luxchomp.

NE seniors is a tough division, it's just that we have so many people that enjoy rogue and are good at playing it, top decks like LuxChomp don't see the light of day most of the time.

^That isn't really true, either. New England has most metagame decks, just not much Luxchomp. In fact, New England is definitely very tough, because we consistently do well at Nats; better than we do at local tournaments, suggesting that we're above the average level of competition around the country.

Kev, I'm not saying that we play suckish decks, it's just that along with the tons of players that play meta, there are players who play good rogues too and do well w/ it (you got t4 w/ freaking giratina in the toughest senior division in the country).

Paperfairy - this is quite a statement to make based on 'what you read'... :nonono:
Next time maybe try "Not as competitive", or "Could be more competitive". "Easily the most uncompetitive" is a bit harsh.
Most people I ran into at NE Regionals played good decks with intention to win.

There are enough people from other regions who like to make silly claims like this about NE, lets leave it to them...

Besides, playing Arceus and other rogue decks may not be the most competitive idea, but it's actually quite cool and keep the rest of the players on their toes. The worst is when people want to win so badly that everyone plays the three decks that are hyped on The Gym.
Anyway, see you at BRs!

umm what???

wait LuxChomp isn't good darn why have i been playing it for 4 months then guess its time to switch?

but really who are you? and who are you to judge if NE Seniors are good or not?
