Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Best Blissey variant

^ lol, that's what I'm working on. If you could find a way to get around Growith starts the deck could be really good.

Sadly after looking at SW and DP4, I think that by Feb. Blissy won't be playable.

BlissCatty when compared to solo Blissy.

Pro
* Energy Draw puts cards in the discard for Blissy’s attack to pick up and gets you more cards in hand. This can improve the constancy of Blissy’s attack and lead to stronger early-mid game setup.
* Once you get a Delcatty or two going the deck is faster than solo Blissy.
* Upstream lets you reuse Boost Energy on Blissey.
* Upstream enables really big damage for 1 energy.
* Constrain can really hurt opponents who get big hands.
* Delcatty ex’s free retreat is useful for Warp Point and other strategic stuff

Con
* To make room for Delcatty you have to take out trainers, making the deck more power dependant over the course of the game & thus more vulnerable to power disrupton.
* Power dependency also means that you have to run more stuff like Windstorm to keep your powers in play which reduces your ability to run disruptive trainers like ER2, SSU, and the like ... and it means you can’t run flat out anti-power stuff like Cessation Crystal which solo Blissy often does.
* Since you have fewer trainers it can take a turn or two longer to really get rolling with Blissy at the start of a game & if something shuts off powers during the game the deck can be slower than pure Blissy during this time as well.
* Skitty starts can lead to T1 or T2 doinks
* Delcatty & Delcatty ex are easy targets for sniping decks
* Delcatty ex has low HP and gives your opponent two prizes when taken out.
* Delcatty ex does not benefit from Holon energy.

I say pick whatever variant suits you. If you like to hit the ground running, the Blisscario or Pure Bliss is right for you; if you like more complex play, then use Blisscatty or Blissvire.

I personally like Blissey/Delcatty the best (I'm a setup kind of guy), but I think Blissey/Lucario was the best play for BRs, as Kant said earlier. T2 Blissey is great, but I'd say it ranks behind the two I mentioned earlier (not that others haven't been successful with it). Blissey/Electivire is my least favorite, and probably the least viable. In my experience it's the least consistant of the four. Electabuzz starts are terrible, and if you run a few turns without a supporter the deck won't sustain itself like the other three variants can.

why do so many people plan blissey? i understand like...why, but like, everyone. the same deck. it's sort of...wierd...

so, why does everyone play this deck? where has imagination gone? cause where i'm sitting. every good card has had a blissey line spammed in it and called something like RETARD TRUK or BLISSDIK or something. sort of anoying.

so many moving TRUKS, why can't they move on and pester some other card game or something.

god why wont you people understand that Blissey DOES NOT EQUAL TRUK.

You'll see when decks like Dump TRUK and Fire TRUK (which are Blisseyless) break the format.

You people actual lose to this card? lol.

Blissvire is easily the best and most versatile. It can still attack T2 almost as often as pure Bliss, and can OHKO everything (PP and SC). If I were to play a Bliss variant, it would be Blissvire.

but we obviously wouldn't, right? cause like everyone plays it, right?
