Box Ratios changed?

Thats by far the best pull ratio I have seen between here and beach. ********... I hope I can even come close to that... and judging by my insane luck with NXD (3 Reg Mewtwo 1 FA) and my terrible luck with DEX (no Darkrai AT ALL) Im about due for some good pulls :lol:

Opened a box, pulled a Terrakion EX regular, Ho-Oh EX regular, and a shiny Krookodile. A few notable rares (1 Sigi, 1 Altaria, 1 RH Garchomp), and not much else.

Someone around here was collecting stats on the print runs and wanted to know box pack order/pack card order, right? I wrote everything down out of morbid curiosity, but it's too much data to just post in a thread here I'd think.

A few things. You could have used my name, I did included it at the end of my post, and secondly, I'm not going into those number, as they are not really important to the pull ratios.

What's the blend energy/trainers ratio? I went in the blister pack direction and through 28 packs I got:

2 Mew ex
1 Giratina ex
1 Rayquaza ex

4 Garchomp (1 rh)
2 Altaria
1 Hydreigon
3 Beautifly
1 Sigilyph
3 Ninetales (1 rh)
1 Roserade

I think those are my best pulls yet w/o a box lol

My apologies, I didnt think to use it. I was just curious what the totals were in order to average them out over the 24 boxes you opened and the divide it by 6 to get an idea of what would be included in each case- thats all.

Apparently you aren't even guaranteed that. I saw my friend open 3 boxes yesterday and 2 of them only had 1 regular EX and 1 shiny. Worst boxes I've seen in a long time.
 
friend brought 3 boxes. Today 2 of them had 6 EX each and one had. Just a lonely Ho-oh ex. lol. I ended u pjust hanging around vendor and sniping 1 or 2 packs every time he crack a new box i came out with 3 ex hydreign and some other stuff in 15 packs.
 
I've opened my 2 boxes... neither of them had a full art ex or shiny - so all I ended up with was 4 EX. I must say that the thought of buying more boxes does give me a shiver!

What I pulled doesn't matter, they make the EXACT same number of FA and NON-FA of each of the Ex cards. If I pulled 10 of one and 4 of another, there will be someone out there that will even up that number.

I wasnt referring to each EX. I meant total Regs, total FAs, and you gave your total for Shinings already. The only other person on here that buys amounts like that is Dancing Peanut, and havent heard them chime in anywhere lately- and so youre likely the only other person to get the information from in a large convenient chunk like that.
 
I think it's safe to say the box ratios are almost non existent for this set. People are pulling upwards of 6 ex cards and a I've opened a box with 1 ex on the low end... It's really random. I'm not sure buying boxes are worth the risk considering there's a real possibility you won't get any value from it.
 
Hey Drew not to correct you but the way you said this:

Might be confusing to some readers. I believe what you mean is that the make the same amount of FA Mew EX as they do FA Terrakion EX. And they Make the same amount of Raquaza EX as the do Giratina EX.
Not that they make as many Ho-oh Ex as they do FA HO-OH EX. (thats about a 2 to 1 ratio)

And NoDice if you add up the listed totals in Drews original post, you get 46 EX'es, 21 FA EX'es and 10 shinies. Thats an average of 1.9 EX - .9 FA EX - .4 shiny per box and 11.5 EX - 5.25 FA EX - 2.5 Shiny per case(6 boxes per case I belive).


Not the greatest pull rates and with such wide variation box to box the less you order the more you can vary from the average.
 
I pulled 1 EX 1 FA EX out of my box, and can confirm 2 EXs, no FA out of another.The ratios are really weird.

Are all of the boxes we're talking about PR boxes? Maybe the very initial print run had some issues, and that's why we're getting weird ratios?
