Hello Gym readers,
I actually try to make a deck with the New NV Conkeldurr, wich is awesome to me. But I have consistency problems ,with my trainer line. So if someone wants to help, there is potential yet lot of work to do
decklist :
3-1-2 Conkeldurr NV
3-3 Electrode prime TM
3 Mew prime TM
2 Togekiss UD
1 (Gothithelle counter, I tought of Mewtwo EX but we have to wait some more before it's release...)
4 collector
3 Juniper
3 rare candy
2 Pokemon Communication
1 PONT
1 N
1 Twins
2 Super rod
4 Switch
1 revive
1 junk arm
10 fighting
3 psychic
3 rainbow
3 DCE
Strategy :
I want to abuse Conkeldurr's Ability and overcome it's attck slowness with Electrode's energymite: while the beast is charging up, it also gains lots of HP, and thus survives many hits. But, this way it will die late or sooner. So, Mew prime sends to lost Zone Togekiss, that heals fully all my pokemon in play but it's shuffled back in the deck awterwards with Blessed Wings.
Mew uses that, heals and disappears in the deck, and never dies. So does Conkeldur. You either charge it with a second energymite or manually to gain more HP while hitting 80 and eventually discarding key cards in your opponent's deck. but, that combo needs switch (retreat conkeldurr once it has been damaged) and DCE (to use Blessed wings)
There is only something : That deck is immune to catcher mid game/late game... because in order to function well, Conkeldurr is the only pokemon on the field once you used electrodes prime and when your starter Mew has been Ko'ed(mid game/late game).
Why Trollface ? Well, to troll your opponent : I have 380 HP. Problem ?:lol:
Not too complicated, but I haven't found the right T/S/S engine for that deck. If anyone has ideas, feel free to post. Thanks.
Edit : Props to vaporeon, who posted his Nuketown decklist in his reports. That reminded me how useful Electrode is, and served me as a basis material for that deck.
