Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Create-a-Set: Hoenn Gym Leaders (COMPLETE!)

Here are some Trainer cards to go with Camerupt Lava Tank, Sharpedo Sea Vehicle, and Weezing Sky Helicopter. To learn more about these teams, click on here, here, here, here, here, and check out Pokémon Colosseum.

Cacturne Forest Rig
Trainer card (Flora's Secret Machine)
Flip a coin. If heads, discard all Pokémon Tool cards from play.

Manectric City Hovertruck
Trainer card (Plasma's Secret Machine)
Flip a coin. If heads, discard all Technical Machine cards from play.

Metagross Spider Walker
Trainer card (Cipher's Secret Machine)
Flip a coin. If heads, discard all Trainer cards with Fossil in their names from play.
Metagross references the Shadow Metagross Nascour used in Pokémon Colosseum.

Skarmory Electromagnet Jet
Trainer card (Snagem's Secret Machine)
Flip a coin. If heads, return all Special Energy cards attached to any Pokémon in play to each player's hand.
Skarmory references the Shadow Skarmory Gonzap used in Pokémon Colosseum.

With so many fossils in this set, why not a few more?

Mysterious Fossil
10 HP
Trainer card

Play Mysterious Fossil as if it were a Basic Pokémon. While in play, Mysterious Fossil counts as a {C} Pokémon (instead of a Trainer card). Mysterious Fossil has no attacks of its own, can't retreat, and can't be affected by any Special Conditions. If Mysterious Fossil is Knocked Out, it doesn't count as a Knocked Out Pokémon. (Discard it anyway.) At any time during your turn before your attack, you may discard Mysterious Fossil from play.

Fossil Egg
Trainer card

Flip a coin. If heads, either search your deck for a card that evolves from Mysterious Fossil and put it onto your Bench or put a card that evolves from Mysterious Fossil from your hand onto your Bench. Either way, treat the new card as a Basic Pokémon. If you searched your deck, shuffle it. (You can't play this card if your Bench is full.)

Buried Fossil
30 HP {C}
Basic Pokémon (Evolves into Omanyte) (Evolves into Kabuto) (Evolves into Aerodactyl) (Evolves into Lileep) (Evolves into Anorith)

Poké-POWER Reconstruction
Once during your turn (before your attack), if you have a basic Energy card in your hand, you may search your deck for an Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, or Anorith card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Then put a basic Energy card from your hand into your deck. Shuffle your deck afterward.

You may play a Pokémon card that evolves from Mysterious Fossil on top of Buried Fossil. (This counts as evolving Buried Fossil.) Buried Fossil can't be affected by Special Conditions.

Weakness: none
Resistance: none
Retreat Cost: {C}
Just for the record, any Fossil evolution is playable on this edition of Buried Fossil as per the Aerodactyl ex rulings. Because of the "evolves into" wording, all Lileep and Anorith are playable, even those that mistakenly don't allow them to evolve from Mysterious Fossil.

That Whiscash is a little on the broken side, Carrington -- specifically, that second attack. Also, even though I can see the reasoning behind it, drop that double Weakness.

Thanks to everyone for contributing! I think it's about time we brought this set to an end. There are still some cards that should be edited, but for the most part, nothing major. I'll be starting another set soon -- everyone is welcome to join in there.

Uh, turbler, cardmaking stopped the post before. And even if it hadn't, you broke a rule of cardmaking with the second card in your post--Flannery does not have a Flareon in the GBA games, thus it is not a legal Pokémon-ex for Flannery. Also, there's 4 E's in Eevee.

I've already PM'd him about it, Carrington. Anyway, I'll be starting a new set in just a few minutes. Everyone who contributed to this set (as well as anyone else who is interested) is welcome to help out there, too!

when the first post says submit cards I submit cards. I haven't even known pokemon for a year yet so I'm not exactly the best at spelling pokemon names. The only pokemon video games I have are fire red a gba and pokemon dash for the ds so I'm just learning that characters such as flannery even exist.
