Nope I cant go to Nats.
I am gonna be in Hawaii instead with my family.

Really enjoyed this gym. I have to say that my highlight was out stalling a stall deck with a deck made for damage output. Thanks to the opponent for making such a great memory.

Thank You , "A-KON"

****Thank You...."A-KON~Dallas"****

Master Professor Birch says, "THANK YOU" to all of the players, parents, and "A-KON" attendees that made the "Dallas~Gym Challenge" a huge success!!! Thanks to goes to Mp Birch's staff: Doctor-D, old man, Team Cook Dad, Mr Meches, and Confidential!!! Awesome job as always as my staff delivers!!! Having the "Dallas~Gym Challenge" at "A-KON", was a bit interesting to say the least. But, not only did we have the Gym Challenge, we were treated to a "sideshow" all day with the "A-KON" attendees walking by.

And MP Birch will be seeing these winners at "WORLDS 2006":

Yo Birch, be sure and tell your 10- kiddies how much fun I had with them. I had a blast working with that group on Saturday. The funniest thing I heard was Landon B. telling David M. "you gotta beat Matthew S. or we're all in trouble". Both Landon and David had a great shot at knocking Matthew out, but both got bad "first hands" a couple of times. When Matthew turned his hat around in game 3 vs Landon, I knew it was over with.

Great tournament, nice and cold the whole day, started on time, got out at a decent hour, Santa with a black leathered french maid, no worries. You can't beat that with a stick.

Are you right, Spotter!!! MP Birch tried to get this one young lady to give "Uncle Robb" a spanking with her stick. She was more than willing, but Uncle Robb protested very loudly!!! Only if MP Birch was younger.

With all that eye candy I'm surprised that more 15 and over boys didn't drop. What are they sitting around playing pokemon for. Then it would have made it easier for me to make top 8 cut.

Well, some of it was quite inappropriate... Okay, a lot of it was.

I just can't believe that they didn't have enough sense to stay out of our playing area... There were lots of kids after all. Ah, what the heck, I believe it. What do they care? They wanted attention and they got it. I think it was quite a shock to some of the moms and kids there.

I just don't get it though, I thought "anime" referred to Japanese cartoons. So, what's up with the very "adult" theme? Is that what Japanese anime is -- adult-ish?

Team Cook Mom

Sounds like you got some hentai ('adult' anime) fandom/cosplayers in your playing area...sorry to hear that :(

'mom

The Playing area was rigt infront of the Dealers Room.
Doing Gyms at A-Kon was the best I liked it a lot.
Best Pokemon Tournament Ever.
I got 4th, people taking pics of me. (I cosplayed as Pikachu)

Birch: just for the record the event you accused me of going to I did not go to, it was the erm one for the guys and one for the girls thing and one co ed (I wonder if they actually did stuff there, and it was 18 not 17), .

Team Cook Mom: Anime is refferred to Japanese Cartoons however there are people who dress up as other things, ie the Jesus Cosplayer, Santa, and the Jedis. Some of the skimpy people were Cosplaying some Hentai Anime. Amime also soes referrs to Hentai, Yaoi, and Yuri (all Adult- Content) This is because it is a Japanese Cartoon (with Adult Content) Some of them dressed that way cause they can. There are rules about not showing any parts, so have those parts covered, everyting else showing is good. Its just the way it is. Team Cook Mom, you know you liked the Marshtomp you got, it is worth it :p. Say hi to Marshtomp for me.

NOT ALL ANIME IS ADULT CONTENT: Pokemon (USA) is considered an anime. Speed Racer, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Yu-Gi-Oh, ect do not contain any adult content and are considered anime. Pocket Monsters (JP) does have some suggestive Scenes however.

I enjoyed myself at A-Kon and at Gyms. Mostly because It was at A-Kon

I have to say that I enjoyed the location except when I was freezing. That is one excellent cooling system that place has. I thought it was cool to see all the costumes.

Does anyone have pictures of my son playing in Dallas. Were there any pictures taken with Birch for winning the tournament?
