Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Destiny

I don't see how Castaway really works with Flygon + Strength Charm + Holon GL. I can see it grabbing Strength Charm, but theres still no way to grab the GL from the deck. Castaway only grabs grass energy, which the deck probably runs a good number of already. How do you grab the GL? Castaway for the strength charm is an obvious combo imho, I've been doing it for a while myself.

You just draw them :D Flariados and confusion from Stantler are its main uses, so you don't need them all that often. You can grab an energy for delta supply, as well as charm and a supporter. It's VERY helpful.

I don't think Mawile would work as well, because they discard the junk they want to, not their good trainers.

Spartan is sounding more and more like Rulemaster everyday... It's a virus I swear.

yea man, alex hill, chris bianchi, heidi craig, omar, eric craig, kyle s, and everyone else i've ever beat with it are HORRIBLE.

I don't want to turn this into a flame war, but ur right, those players are good. i never said teh deck wasnt good, just the versions i had seen of it. I'd love to see a good version of it being played tho, so maybe that will happen come regionals.

i saw bianchi playing it at league
it is very annoying to play against, and has alot of power
it is a bit overhyped, but it is a contender in tournoments
you not seeing a good version of it might be because those who play the deck around you may simply have inadequet list, or might not be as skilled with it as alot of the others are

back on topic, i was bored, so i tried registeel ex
dont play it... (to energy intensive) :nonono:

Anyways, I'm having second thoughts on usign Destiny, I just can't play it well at all *emo tear*

Missed you, PSYCO!

On topic,
From testing, I can definitely say I like the baby/evolution combos from UF. Particularly Electabuzz and Hitmonchan. But I don't know whether I would want them to see the active position or just bench sit to give my Mews more options. With Hitmonchan I would probably lean more toward having him active to take advantage of fighting weakness, but Electabuzz doesn't really do enough damage (since I wouldn't waste four turns powering up Luster Blast) to be effective in that way. His body is too good to pass up though so I'd probably include an Elekid anyways. I think I would want my pokemon lineup to look like this:

3 Mew EX
2 Rayquaza EX d
1 Latios EX d
1 Skarmory EX
2 Lickitung d
2 Stantler
1 Mew d
1 Mew*d
1 Elekid d
1 Electabuzz
1 Tyrogue
1 Hitmonchan

I think Hitmonchan could be a decent counter to Delta too, 100 HP and no power puts him just out of Raichu + Cessation range, and Tyrogue's Desparate Punch or Chan's Heavy Punch will usually ko Raichu. And Speedy Uppercut will give you more options vs Safeguard.

i would think Sanslash d:wink:   would be the ONLY evolution that
would be played in a Destiny...i mean if u start with lickitung u spread damage on all the
pikachus'/Raichu's then bring up Slash and OHKO all them with 2energies....(weakness)......and Sandslash helps a bit against other ex decks also and it dont got a bad weakness (grass).......
but all these evos have a HUGE weakness and thas they can be shut down with latilock !!!!!!!
and almost all decks have a latilock tech in them nowadays :)clap: )......lol

and can i ask y do u need mew d and mew*......
??????????????????????????????????????
  :nonono: :nonono:
and how in the world do u beat Flygon with this pkmn list ?????
i jus dont see it happening unless u make all your flips and they dont....lol

my list was slightly different tech wise, but i played 3 mew, 2 ray, 2 licki, and 2 stantler and beat flygon in top 4 at LA states. you can win any matchup if you're a good player.

1. mawile pk is awsome vs rai/egg/bok/tic/wak or watever else you can play with rai d and against metanite, though in my area we don't do big hands, so it's pretty pointless

2. wat does mew pop 5 do again?

Hiya,

I think Cloyster d would be another good choice for a stage 1 inside Destiny. It blocks eggs, flariados, mirror matches and can deal a considerable amount of damage. Of course, Lati-lock and Cessy kills it.
Ow ya...Plusle and Minun from Deoxys is kinda good too. I think they're a better option than Mew*.
Hurmmmm...........Too many choices....I mean, you can really put anything in destiny. ;)

cya~!
