Shaymin has been instrumental.

Cinccino doesn't require much energy to attack, the rest take 3-4. Being able to move those Energy around at key moments is often the difference in seamless recovery. There are only 14 energy in the deck and Beartic will eat 3-4 of those each to max its potential. Being able to Celebration Wind them all to a fresh Bear and hit the Switch button provides you with that speed when you need it. This is key to counter Dragon decks.

Also, you Bolt Strike a fair bit with Zekrom. Getting those 2 basic Energy off it and onto another once Outrage is netting you KOs is critical. Would you rather loose 3 of your 14 Energy to a KO or just a single DCE? This situation happens quite frequently.

Sometimes you attach Energy one turn to what seemed the best choice only to realize the next turn, thanks to the tremendous speed given by a well played Juniper and 7 fresh cards, it would have been better off elsewhere as you draw into a better option. Then you aren't wasting a turn of attachment waiting for a better target and the Energy ends up where it is most effective.

The list goes on, but suffice to say it's a pivotal card.

I change the list every time there's a meta change. With the release of a new set, there are new wrinkles in the meta.

Kyurem. Eviolite. Energy.

Not to be vague, but I don't want to divulge all the changes I've made so it can be torn apart and countered.

You can't catcher against ross at all they will manage a t2 vileplume and I guess beartic fits this situation perfectly because at one point they will have no energies to retreat which the bear just loves. I guess I can be safe to say to take out plus powers for rocky helmets?

They can't ALWAYS get a t2 Vileplume, but point well taken.

Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other, but I still prefer the Pluspower here so I can KO without being atttacked. Rocky Helmet I would have to rely on my opponent attacking me with the same 130 HP Pokemon I just did 120 damage to or 110 HP Popkemon (with free retreat) I just did 100 damage to. Controlling the KO yourself is better than relying on your opponent to give it to you.

I'm always reevaluating though.

Oh Wayne I wished we could choose opponent's on TCGOnline, I really wonder how your deck would do against my Bearforce 1.

However I would take the Zekroms out, replace with Kyurem and lightning out to replace with Water.
And Pichu for an Energy Exchanger???
(pichu never helps me when I need it)

Ha! We had some pretty good games. You with Yanmega and me with an earlier version of this. We should do it again soon! Nice name by the way! Bearforce 1 v. Kamehameha...

2 Zekrom
1 Pichu
5 Lightning

These out for

+ 3 Water
+ 2 Rocky helmet
+3 Kyurem

I thought about taking away tornados but it works solid on getting that beartic the next turn going. Would these changes be suffice and good?

Energy is pretty thin already. I wouldn't suggest dropping any. PP wouldn't be needed with Kyurem as a semi main. Other than that, it could work. Try it out and tell me what you find.

Looks pretty good, actually. However, I think a really cool thing would be to somehow get some Pachis in here and make this deck have a mini ZPST engine going on.

I did that at first and it was nice at times but conflicted with the overall strategy as it used up too much bench space. Perhaps you would have better luck with it :)

Good point. Bench room would be a problem in this deck, but energy acceleration seems pretty needed in this deck.

Good point there. Well, he doesn't really accelerate, but he manipulates, which I could see becoming helpful lategame when you are certain about what deck your opponent is playing.

Would it be possible or a good idea to take out the Zekrom and replace it with Kyurem, and then switch the electric energy for water? My mom was thinking about running this for Cities, and she said that there was too few energy in the deck.

There's plenty of Energy. You just have to manage your resources well. It was very consistent throughout Battle Roads. It'll still be consistent for Cities.
