also couldn't that kyurem just be a drop in blastiose like run mostly water but then a few psychics...seems to have worked in rayeels...

Most likely they said "Well we don't want it on the water blend for balance reasons. What are our choices? Dark, no, that doesn't make sense and is also run very frequently, fire, obviously wrong because it isn't White Kyurem, leaf, that's not a very good fit, psychic... sort of... I guess we could make it psychic!"

It's even possible that they tried all sorts of different costs for it and decided that WPCC was the most balanced for what they wanted the card to do. I wouldn't count on it, but you never know. ;)

Giratina is just about the only one that I know of that has truly weird energy costs. But, then again, maybe not. Both Grass and Psychic have been used for Poison in the past. I know Giratina isn't a Poison type, but that might be what they're thinking for that.

Hey guys just a thought in regards to Giratina's energy costs, could it be reminiscent to the original Giratina sets where all the cards that related to Giratina also related to Shaymin to tie in with the current movie at that time?

Kyurem is a secret rare with no none secret reprint. This sounds just like SR Rayquaza. Until we get a good idea of the distribution of the set, dont count on using Kyurem in any of your Keldeo decks anytime soon.
