Dustox ex: What works well with it?

I'd actually tech a 2-1-2 line into Ludi. Ludi's biggest problem when it runs Battle Frontier is EX decks. This should definately lighten the load.

I thought that was what the Ninetales was for???

Most ex decks have non ex cards and can easily get around Ninetales. When I played Speeveelution, Vaporeon ex could get around it with its first attack.

Hmm...tech a line into Ludi....that may work(as I've run LudiCargo in the past and it worked well), but the problem with that deck was when it faced big ex's. It was hard to kill them fast(usually giving enough time to heal them).

I may try that if straight Dustox/Pidgeot won't work. Thanks for the idea.

I don't like Ninetails in Ludi/Cargo, cause then the Wartortle in Blastoise/Lugia gets you. Blastoise/Lugia has no means of dealing with a Dustox.

What about Jirachi? It'll get off at least two shots for 100 damage total. Then Wartortle could come in and kill it. Or another Jirachi even.

Smart players can play around ninetales. ZRE has magmar, blastoise has wortortle, Medi has espeon+pow/cyclone.

Well, Dustox ex will be great in this ex heavy format, but what about gengar and cradily?
I'm going with a deck like Umbreon/Vaporeon, Umby/Espy, or Espy/Vapor......don't know yet(haven't had time to think about the deck). But that's what will take care of that. Hopefully.
