Okay, I thought of this deck because someone wanted to know if Empoleon was good and I thought, "hmm..... it will beat mag, but not G&G". So then, I decided "Gardevoir"!!! It'll help you set up fast, it's a Psychic pokemon, and Bring Down helps if you spread damage with Empoleon.

POKEMON:22

x4 Piplup
x3 Prinplup
x3 Empoleon
x1 Empoleon Lv.X
x3/1 Ralts SW/DF
x2 Kirlia
x2 Gardevoir SW
x2 Gardevoir Lv.X
x1 Gardevior ex

TRAINERS:22

x4 Rare Candy
x4 Celio's Network
x1 Castaway
x2 Stregth Charm
x2 Lake Boundry
x1 Scott
x3 Professor Oak's Visit
x2 Night Maintenence
x3 Roseanne's Research

ENERGYS:16

x3 Scramble
x3 DRE
x4 :water:
x3 :psychic:
x3 Multi

AGAINST ALL DECKS STRATEGY: Start with Empoleon and spread damage.

AGAINST G&G STRATEGY: Use Gardevoir's Psychic Lock + Stregth Charm + Lake Boundry.

AGAINST MAGMORTAR: Use Empoleon's Aqua Jet + Lake Boundry.

AGAINST OTHER DECKS: Use Gardevoir's Bring Down after spreading damage with Empoleon.

Great deck... I just think that you should add a DRE and a Gallade b/c you can ALWAYS use DREs and galade and empoleon just combo SSSSOOOO well together.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Oh yeah, a 1-1 or 2-2 Cress X or Palkia X would work real well in here, and you may want to add some warp points and WPs.

This list is awesome. The two really pair together. Like i said, maybe a Gardy ex tech, and throwing in some Multi Energy if you can. I also think a 2nd Gallade would get the deck going also. IDK, nice list though

nice. I like this list alot. Power Stops with the Gardy ex, Spread with the Empoleon, and clean up with Gardy Lv.X. Now only if i could get this built for Regionals =P I dunno if i like 3 Scramble However, too much relying on comebacks. IDK, nice list though

You going to have a hard time seting up since you are trying to set up 2 stage 2'. Emp Lv.X is not that great so it not needed.

This deck is not slow because:
1. I could use Prinplup instead of the stage 2.
2. Gardi has Telepass to use their supporters.
3. uhhhh......... idk what else..........

I hope ure using Prinpulp in the first few turns since ure gonna have to spread damage early and often as possible to setup future Kos and to trade off prizes, and tech in a Gallade, its gonna have to sonic blade against Emp decks and other decks.

I think that the problem with this deck is that Empoleon is weak to lightning which is Pachirisu. I came up with the idea of .....

4-4 Weavile
4-2-3 Gallade
2-2 Gardevoir/Lv.X
1 Mew * (star)
1 Mew SW

I decided to use a water pokemon that's not weak to lightning, and Weavile can collect dark energys, lower your opponent's hand, and it's a water pokemon, that way, Mag gets really scared. Weavile can also help kill off those pesky Bannettes.

You might consider a 3-3-2-2 Empo Lv X line. You can always Snipe for 70-80 then Teleportation and Bring Down, then Teleportation EMpo back out and Snipe Wash and Repeat!
Don't forget to Supreme Command when you can!

Here is an idea on the Pokemon:

POKEMON:23

x3 Pachirisu
x3 Piplup
x3 Prinplup
x3 Empoleon
x1 Empoleon Lv.X
x3 Ralts
x2 Kirlia
x2 Gardevoir SW
x2 Gardevoir Lv.X
x1 Gallade

Just a start!

The deck isnt only for countering Mag, it can also counter G&G. Gardy+LB+Str Charm=OHKO on Gallade, and Gardy+LB=OHKO Gardy
