Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Every time I revamp AMU it has less energy in it

6? I play 4 in mine..... You reeally don't need 6, because you have got to be kidding me, you really think six energy would be at all consistant?

My personal prefereance is min of 12 and max 16, I don't like call energy because I never get it in the begining, and when I do, the only pokemon that can use it is Uxie...but it also depends on what version your playing.

for now i am content to run 10 (9 psychic, 1 multi for my techs). i don't like call energy in this deck one bit because i am constantly charging for supreme blasts. i went 4-2 at battle roads with a ridiculous donk loss to a random banette deck and a very narrow loss in a long match against luxray that i cannot complain about. even with just ten i never once lacked energy for attachment on my turn. the 6 energy variant may have to wait for stormfront. i need space for those 4 pokedrawers (or whatever the trainer is that playing 2 of them lets you search your deck for any two cards).
i have concluded that every AMU deck should run 4 energy pickup. if played right it is essentially a coinflip for a prize.

Banette isn't underrated, its out classed. With out the cg shuppet, banette just isn't what it used to be.

cg shuppet isnt needed, there are plenty of trainers to pull out a banette without ascention, and throwing a counter on the opponent is cool beans me-thinks

i wanna test it a bit actually

i won portland BR with 10 energy (9 psychic, 1 multi) in my deck. over two BRs i went 14-4 and honestly i can count on less than one hand the number of turns where i didnt have an energy attachment that would have mattered. it simply was never an issue between roseanne's research, POV and uxie's set up power. rotom with dual trans otoh was essential late game more times that i can remember.
