Fearow worth it?

1-1 is tha way to go.:)
thats what i played at my battle road.
it works so good with a 1-1 line,my fearow was only prized once,and the funny thing is,it was the only game i lost XD.
 
i wouldn't run 1-1 anything that searches. 1-1 is for tech, not support. right now, i was trying to decide between 2-2 fearow 2-1-2 queen or 2-1-2 meganium. i use castform and pinsir(2) for start. i figure pinsir can't get spearow, but spearow appears to be a much better start than nidoran (good point Rai). And Nidoprince makes a valid point that even though chikorita start isn't too bad, meganium only gets to use it's power once. I had Kingdra built when DF first released but i never played it because i liked Kingler CG so much. Those of you that play Kingdra, do you ever have to attack with anything else?
 
I would use Meganium. Out of all 3, I think it is the best. Your already playing Fighting Pokemon, and with all the Water Pokemon flying around it is a big help. That's just me tho,

wait... Altaria with Kingdra? Kingdra's got built in acceleration with his first attack and swablu is a lousy start. Altaria is risky business and a waste of four good spaces.
 
I ran Kingdra totally fine with no Altaria.

4-3-4 Kingdra ex
2-2 Fearow
1-0-1 Pigeot d ( which didn't help, the entire tournament was Gatr d ) I would replace this with a 1-1 Cloyster d after seeing how bad the Gatr matchup is.
