Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Ft Wayne, IN Regionals November 12 & 13

I just booked my hotel at the Hilton @ 79$ a night. You pay in advanced but it is an option for those who couldn't book hotels earlier. I will see everyone there :)

Hilton is about 4 miles away, basically Hilton is in downtown Ft Wayne, Tournament is on the North eastern part of Ft Wayne. Hilton is next to the place we used last year, but this year we are on other side of town. Drive time I would say if not busy around 10 minutes.

While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling cards with anyone except for our authorized dealer(s), or soliciting to do so elsewhere, is strictly forbidden at this event. Failure to obey this rule may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the event, and banned from attending future events.

Ok question for those coming... If I did side events, with say Lucario sleeves as prizes along with everyone getting a pack for playing in it, if your doing bad in the main event, think you would be interested in dropping and playing in side events? Also if I would later offer other side events with other old prerelease sleeve/pack combos would you play? What about some sides where you could win some old playmates/packs I have been able to get? These would all be modified format... Would you play? Thoughts?

I'd play (not thinking my brother would though) in anything that wasn't going on during the main event for Seniors. Although, if I'm going 0-3 or something (Something I don't expect to be doing, but still...) I'd drop for side events. Anything after Senior's Top or potentially swiss I'd for sure do.

Can't speak for the rest of my family though.
 
Id definitely play if they were after the main event but id think of dropping for them if im doing bad.

Lucario 8 Person Tournaments (We will run multiples of these tournaments)
Cost: $5
Modified format
Prizes:
1st Place: 2 packs of Noble Victories, 60-pack of Lucario Sleeves
2nd Place: 2 packs of Noble Victories
3rd-8th place: 1 pack of Noble Victories

Pokemon Sleeves 8 Person Tournaments (We will run multiples of these tournaments)
Cost: $5

Prizes:
1st Place: 2 packs of Noble Victories, 60-pack of Pokemon Sleeves

I probably won't know for sure until late Saturday. There are 3 factors that will play into that, one is what product we have available. depends on how much we use for side events on Saturday, then there is space, Video Game and the rest of the masters top cut (we are capped at top 32, so I expect to run top 32 saturday night and top 16 and on then sunday) will have first priority on space, then we will see what we have left. Then of course there is the question, will anyone want to play instead of playing Video Game?

I can tell you there will be no Video Game side events, but trading card maybe.... will announce at Regionals on Saturday one way or another so players know... Sorry I can't give you a more definate yes or no right now...

Would I like to, yes, it may be where we have to start them after maybe noon to clear out some of the Video Game players, as with the Video Game Championships being swiss only I expect that many who lose in the first few rounds will drop as they likely wouldn't have any chance at prizes if we play 8-9 rounds...

Alright, thats great. Sorry for the question extravaganza, but how late do you plan to run Side Events (assuming there is product)?
 
2 questions 1 are there going to be any side events during lunch on Saturday and 2 how late will top 16 most likely run to on sunday
