Wow, a lawyer with a sense of humor, what's the world coming to?

As far as I heard the T4 had John Silvestro and Eric Craig in it. Dunno who won.

I don’t have time for all the GA/FL/NC drama :p. I want to personally thank all the players for supporting this event and making a great showing of 75 players.

It was great to see all of our friends from the surrounding states and I wish to thank all for the patience you endured during the issues of the TOM software – we’ll get there ;)

Special thanks goes out to Jeff R. – simply one of the best judges in Pokemon – it would have been much tougher without you ;)
Special thanks also goes out to Tymon M and Steve S, which were also a tremendous blessing judging a nice crowd and working with the software. All of you were great!

Congrats to those that won the GB Micros – hope you enjoy ;)

Finally, congrats goes out to all the players that did exceptionally well and all the 10- players that make this game such a joy :)

What drama are you refer to???

John S great playing with a really interesting deck (guess the undefeated curse caught up with you...LOL)!!! The match with you and Eric was intense and one of the best matches I have seen in awhile!!!

Aww Tony - my bad; of course you're always great as well ;)

The "drama" I'm referring to is "who goes to what state to claim another state" thing - it's just not worth getting into. There are a lot of great players-----yes EVEN GA-----but there can only be one winner. :p

And just like any game, the people with the most money usually do the best.

it sucks, but it isn't like we can change it.

Eah, John's deck wasn't uber expensive, nor was mine, or Jaceys, or Alex's, or Ryan's. SIn some envoirnments (Blaze) I would say yes, you're right Prime. But right now...gosh, anything can win. Colton won because A) he's a great player and B) he got good matchups and C) he got good hands. If John had played me in the finals there's virtualy no way he'd have lost. Don't take anything away from Colton - I'm just saying, cheap decks can do good right now.

I'm not speaking about card prices. I speak about money in general. Warning, this is just an example...

I play in NC states, I don't win. I have the money to drive to another states the next day, I don't win. Next weekend comes, two more states. I don't win on saturday but I do win on sunday. I was skilled, sure, but then again, having the money to have 4 tries at a states was really what gave me the advantage over my friends back in NC that could only attend 1 states or 2 at most.

That's what I mean by having an advantage. Flying around to different regionals was what William Hung did until we won his trip. I wonder if anyone else in his whole state did the same thing.

Cards are cheap, even the expensive ones, compared to other card games that is. Money plays the biggest part in having the expenses to go to more tournaments more often than other players.
