other than Milotic EX and possible reprint of *RH TV Reporter* :) :) :) and the basic energy cards holo, there's nothing really to look forward to in this new set =/ 8 cards sought after out of a 80+ set, woooooohoooooooo this'll suck IF it is like that, I just hope it's a mega ultra big set with Gs Ss AND QCP AND Gift Box, that way we can catchup, and have the same sets available for Worlds.

Research mista. Pokemon Emerald has so many G/S Pokemon in it it is not even funny. Prof. Oak even lets you have Chikorita, Totodile, or Cyndaquil later on in the game. Pokemon Emerald, in a sense, is a G/S game.
 
what I don't get is, what's going to fill the gap? historically speaking, how long was the gap between tcg sets to wait for g/s on gbc to come out and for r/s on gba to come out? i'm supposing they did have tcg set 'breaks.'

Take Sandstorm as the example here...... close your eyes and think of Sandstorm. Yes think Dunsparce think Candy think a few good EX.... now stop thinking. Now think ADV2, now think Aerodactyl ex, and then think Kabutops ex (unless i'm mistaken it might not have been them!).

Now think Gs, Ss and then set after it. And then think ADV EX1...... and then think EX: MvA. And then think Sandstorm and then think Emerald, and then think August. Then think Meganium ex, Typhlosion ex and Feraligatr ex.

They'll think of something =/
 
where did you guys hear there would be holo basic nrg in this set?

and are these holo nrg either of the matrix style? (see below)
and would the be one per pack?

in japan's next battle road torney, some of the prizes are HOLO versions of the NEW MATRIX stlye that is found in the QCP's. They will be really hard to get, cause they will be given out 1 at a time to JAPANESE players for winning a battle. good luck trying to get like 20 of those OF THE SAME NRG type lol

original matrix nrg's (holo) that came in japanese team aqua magma
new stlye marix nrg's (non holo) that came in QCP
new style marix nrg's (holo) that are part of next battle road, handed out 1 at a time (type is random) to a battle winner

OMGWTFBBQ! This set is going to totally pwn. Yuka Morii Claydol and Linoone! Yay! As for the rest of the cards, they look quite interesting. Manectric and Grumpig have nice splashable second attacks, but I'd need translations to analysise the rest of them. Anyone?
 
Most all the cards are awful, cept the ex's. Why would they even make this a set is totally beyond me. These card's are promo-type.
 
How does worlds deck work with other countries?
Does japan have to not use some cards that weren't released here, or they just get to play new cards we can't?
 
I do see holo potential in a lot of those cards (even though they all seem to suck). Theres 3 ex's in that + 6 from QCP and that leavs room for 2 more. Kyogre and Groudon. Im getting 11 from the previous post with the ebay teaser.

That makes me almost sure that we're not getting GS until july/august. I see another bad set coming this way=/
I didnt like Deoxys now we get what seems to be a continuation of DX. =/ I cant wait for GS.
 
Who says we are getting QCP? Gosh, the new set in japan comes out next month, why can't we get it a few weeks after?? It would make perfect sense to get that set, plus the emerald tin. Then get QCP as a small set near August.

when japan has ANOTHER new set out? .....i dont know, i dont think we will ever catch up. If the next set for us is GS then great, the QCP were good japan filler so that we could get into line. However if pokemon of america insists on makeing these cards, then i think it is pointless. "O goody were almost caught up" japanese company: " DAMN the americans are almost caught up, quick! make up some useless set, that they will have to reproduce....MUHAHHA yes, we are soo devious"

Yeah I'd love to see Emerald as Gift Box + Japanese Emerald, halt japaneses releases until after Worlds, and release QCP as a mini set pre Nationals, in June I'd say, that would work best I think.
