Gex (enter the gecko, *shot) is a TON more powerfull than Gorebyss... i warn ya though. Just be-ware of Ruins and those Sceptile decks and other Garde decks. Oh... and my deck. Hahahaha.

OH JESUS!!! @_@

KENDLE!!!!!!!!!!

ok dude, few ideas from the tall ogre-like one ;P

-WOBBS are a must, i'd say 2-3
-counter-gyms (ruins will "ruin" ur day) throw in 2-3 gyms (maybe 2 storm, 1 tomb?)
-3 kirlia and 4 candy??? drop 1-2 r/c's
-and i know some play it and some don't, but with wynaut in there, SHAMANS would really make things a lot better for disruption

oh, and mikey, blaze is right on a few things (potions and the 4 wynauts)
-i'd take out the potions and maybe add in reversals instead
-the 4 wynauts are there so that u START with wynaut and not with a ralts, same principle with dunsparce

ok back to the important question...... WHAT LEAGUE? WHERE??????

Mikey, Scotty nailed the 4 Wynauts part. You want to start with wynaut. Wynaut + Psy energy = good start. Also... SEVEN basics? Dude... add some wobbs or something. Actually... just do everything scott said, ditching potions, strength charms, and maybe a warp point and a candy to make the necessary room.

And Scotty, you didn't know about the gg league? For shame. ;p

Hi Ditto,

Maybe consider to increase the basic count and make sure to run a stadium card or desert ruins eat Gex alive. Since you dislike Wobbuffet consider Chimecho instead.

2 Gardivor EX (beatdown)
3 Chimecho (beatdown)
3 Gardevoir (beatdown)
3 Kirilia (evolution)
4 Ralts (evolution)
3 Wynaut (draw)

TRAINER (25):

3 Professor Elms Training Method (draw)
3 Magnetic Storm (enable)
3 Steven's Advice (draw)
3 Warp Points (disable)
3 Rare Candy (evolve)
3 Masterball (draw)
3 Oran Berry (heal)
3 Copycat (draw)

yeah, i know about that one, it's just so far away...... i want one like down the street, which may be happening in the near future..... but still

ok, enuff outta me, lmk if u do go up there, i might just tag along... :)

ok, so i've been playing around with apprentice, trying to see how decks would deal out. i made a few different decks, my old version of gardy, my new version, a version most similar to what a lot of you suggest (with wynauts and such), and a gorebyss version. well, truth be told i ended up liking the wynaut version the best (and i think i'm finally set on not trying to work with gorebyss anymore), but there was still something wrong with it it seemed. just didn't seem fast enough. so i switched some things around and added more draw and such, and it still just didn't have enough umph. so i thought, well what the heck, maybe i'll mix someone of mine in there a bit more, so here's what i did.

Pokémon (19)
4x Ralts SS
3x Kirlia RS2
3x Gardevoir RS
3x Gardevoir ex SS
3x Zigzagoon SS
3x Linoone RS

Trainers (25)
3x Professor Oak's Research
4x Copycat
3x Steven's Advice
4x TV Reporter
1x Magnetic Storm
2x Ancient TM [Rock]
1x Switch
2x Warp Point
4x Rare Candy
1x Town Volunteers

Energy (16)
4x Boost Energy
12x Psychic Energy

now, the only thing i added in as far as my own twist was the linoone. before that change i had 4x wynaut and 2x wobbs. but as nice as the wynaut into wobb and remove the damage you put on from gardy's power is, wynaut just wasn't fast enough for me. and as you can see i've got quite a number of draw cards and i even uped the gex count and the r/c count so i would draw them more. when i ran through a few trail runs with the linoone change though everything flowed much nicer. cause linoone you can search for 2 of anything. so i can get a gardy and r/c, or a gardy and a draw card for next turn. it's just more versitile. and even zigzagoon can draw a card with his attack. i was thinking about maybe taking out a cat or a steven and a r/c and putting in two wally's, just to make sure i have a better chance of getting linoone quick, but i'm not sure if i need that yet. anyway, tell me what you think about this version and things that could speed it up. thank you.

ok mikey, i understand a few things and some reasoning behind it but i do have a few issues with ur deck

-7 basics????? holy crap!! how do u only have 7 basics??
-1 gym and 3 ex's??? u will hardly get it, and someone will counter it quick, so up it to at least 2 MS's
-4 tv reporter?? what do u plan to discard?? i don't know about that
-4 copycat?? ummmmmm

well that's about all, being the fact that i'm soooo tired

c ya soon, lata

none

Ok, can you say TOO many cycling cards.

- 4 t.v. reporters
- 3 professor oaks research
+ 3 wynaut
+ 4 dunsparce
- 2 t.m. rock
+ 2 magnetic storm
- 3 linoone
- 3 zigzagoon
+ 2 jirachi
+ 2 dual ball
+ 2 psychic

scotty: yeah, the 7 basics is eh... but you know me and being able to work with low numbers like that. still some more would be nice, but the wynauts weren't helping enough, and dunsparce is no good when i'd just be pulling 3 ralts out, so i just left it with zig and linoone. i've been playing on appr and yeah, i need another gym, which i've put in, cause it's just really helpful. the 4 tv reporter, 4 cat, and 3-3 gardy/ex were my attempts to speed the deck up back when i had wynaut in there. i think i can lower all those counts some, but trust me, there's always SOMETHING to discard for tv reporter.

venom: like i said up there, wynaut aren't fast enough nor helpful enough, and dunsparce has nothing to search for, so those wouldn't go good. i might try the master/dual ball though, expessially since it's not a supporter. jirachi might be an option too, i'll have to see, one of the problems with wynaut not helping enough though was that it could just get pokemon and sometimes r/c or drawing cards are nice to get (which you can get with linoone). still, jirachi evos the poke right there, so that might be nice. i'll see.

i'm still kicking around some tweaks to the older style that i used to play, as well as the new style, so we'll see where that takes me. the main thing i see in both versions though is that i have to be able to keep cycling or adding to my hand so that i'll always have something new to work with and can get the stuff i need. if my hand sits stagnant for too many turns everything just flops. thanks for commenting, any more help is always appriciated.
