Graceful Phoenix

Pokemon: 11

4 Ho-Oh

3 Togepi
1 Togetic
3 Togekiss

Trainers 29

"T2 Fishing Engine"
4 Great Ball
4 Quick Ball
2 Dusk Ball
3 PokeNav
4 Pokedex
4 Steven' Advice
2 NIght Maintenance
1 TSD
2 Windstorm
3 Rare Candy

Energy: 20
3 Psychic
4 Fire
3 Fighting
3 Electric
3 Grass
2 Dark
2 Holon FF

Simple idea of Starting with a Ho-Oh Active and using the Fishing Engine to get out Togekiss asap! Burn the Great Ball on Ho-oh and Togepi and then Quick Ball should set you up with good chance of getting what you need!

With the Fast Deck thinning happening and the small hand do to Togekiss getting the nrg where they need to be, top decking should be relatively easy for PokeNav and Pokedex!

The Chance of hitting heads on those Phoenix Turns helps prolong the life of Ho-Oh and this is where TSD comes into play! Once one gets KOed, TSD it back then evo to Kiss again to reload it after using the Night Maintenance!

It is a risky deck with going for only 1 Togetic to limit the chances of Quick Ball hitting something other than Kiss, but it just might do the trick!

Holon FF is a Tech card so I went for 3 in here! With all this Fire running around, someone is bound to get those Empoleon back out of the binder! X2 Weakness hurts so FF is a must IMHO!

So there you go!! Graceful Phoenix! Hope you like it and keep thinking outside the Box!!

I like it a lot. Maybe you want to consider SSU? I'd probably also run a couple more types of basic energy just to be able to do that extra 40 damage. But only about 1 of each.

I like the creativity and it seems like a very nice deck, my only worry is if anyone in your area plays Hurricane or Empoleon. You may want to put in 1 more holon ff.:thumb:

Amazing T2 deck!!!... however i would add garchomp- he is perfect for this deck especially in late game.

Why 3 and 3 and3 ? Ho-Oh hit's 20 for each diffrent energy so lets give it all 8 diffrent...
Do it like this, then Ho-Oh can hit 160, in your version only 100.

4 Fire
2 Psychic
2 Fighting
2 Electric
2 Grass
2 Water
1 Darkness
1 Metal
3 Holon FF

Also try in 1-2 Mantine dtas beacuse they'll get basik energys top of your deck before togekiss... Otherways... I'd say taht yoou shuld use 4x Rowan and 4x Professor Oak's Research even if you waned to counter Gardevoir, Gardy doesn't really like those 2...

Play it like this:
4 Ho-Oh
3-1-3 Togekiss

1 Plusle
1 Minum
=13
Supporters:
4x POR/TGW
4x Rowan
=8+13=21
Trainers:
4x Great Ball
4x Quick Ball
2x Dusk Ball
4x Pokedex
1x TSD=(only one TSD/NM because Ho-OH got a POWER and energys you'll have back whit Plusle)
2x Windstorm
3x Candy
=20+21=41
Energys:
3x FF
2x Fire (only 2 because Plusle will get it back)
2x Grass
2x Water
2x Psychic
2x Lighting
2x Fighting
2x Darkness
2x Metal

I like this deck idea. If you can get out Togekiss quickly enough, Ho-Oh becomes a very powerful basic with a chance at reviving. Pretty cool.

Maybe some Celio's? I know how the basic principles of the Fishing engine works, but Celio's guarantees you a Pokemon that you might need. Maybe Professor Birch also, since you'll be burning through your cards pretty fast.

I like the concept, but I've been playing through a couple hands on appr, and I <3 4-2 Furret in here. It's AMAZING. It single-handedly sets up a Kiss for a possible turn 2 Ho-oh. Not to mention Sentret is a Pokedex with 60 HP.

Try it. You'll LOVE it.

Thanks for posting such a great deck! i built it and i love it! try 2 of each basic energy and 2 mantine d

i dont know how the fish engine works since i havent tested it, but try a 2-2-1 delcatty line and 2 mantine d for an even faster set up.

For those that keep suggesting Mantine d:

The reasons for not using it is Magmortar, Empoleon, Lucario, Ray Ex d and any other Sniping Card in the format, and there are plenty of them!

Mantine doesn't really assist except for that 1 nrg it can guarantee you! I would rather put 3 in with Maintenance and increase my odds of Serene Grace hitting those than the guarantee of 1. Whereas that 1 could be the difference in attacking or not, if you need that, it is time to reconsider your deck mechanic!

The Furret ides is nice, but with Quick Ball, your decreasing your possibilities of hitting a needed Pokemon ntm taking away 6 valued spaces.

There are a few ideas I have taken into consideration here and keep others coming.. as long as it isn't Mantine D

Have you considered trying a tech mewtwo* or mew*? Mewtwo* can pull out that surprise OHKO on Gallade and Gardevoir. Mew* Would be useful since you play many different energy types and an energy accelerator. I would also make sure to use every tpe of basic energy to increase Ho-oh's max. damage.

Yeah I also agree with a Mew* d tech, and 3-4 Psychic energies (for those gardylades^^).

But the deck itself is awesome !!!
