You do realize that the Historic Cabins are what the title says, Historic Cabins. This is a State park the Historic Cabins are actual cabins.

This is the info I was given on the historic cabins:

The eight cabin rooms are located in two buildings west of the main Inn in the woods near the toboggan run. The cabin rooms are furnished similar to the Inn rooms with two double beds. They are more private and provide a more rustic setting. They do not have cooking facilities or fireplaces.

are we talking, like real cabins?

ie like logs and mud and dirt floors

with like a bag of hay for a matress etc.

it makes me giggle thinking that pokemon players may be living in those conditions, but yeah, i almost wish i'd come, it sounds very unique.
 
If anybody from Chicago and north is going to this tournament, could one of you please take me with you? I just realized that I will be home for that weekend (lucky for me :D). I'm sorry if this is a little bit late...
 
Sad news: Erica (my girlfriend) has her graduation ceremony on the 15th, so I will not be able to go to Great Lakes Regionals :(

Someone from Indiana will DONK Foisy. I hear everyone is playing Sceptile just to stop him - the rest of the metagame be damned. We will not lose to FOISY! LOL
 
Friday Night warm up events!

Derek has graciously reserved a conference room for Friday Night as a central play location. Ryan and I will be there running tournaments deep into the night. We'll run them like Side Events, and we have boxes of boosters to use for prizes.

You are also welcome to just come and hang out or playtest. See you there!

*Note: This is an official part of the Regionals Experience - don't miss it!
 
That's right. We will be focusing on running multiple Modified events. But we are open for drafts or sealed events, as long as we have the product available. The room should be open around 5pm, and hope to get first event going at 6pm.

Don't worry, if you miss the start of one, wait a bit or recruit other players and we wil get one started for you!

Just so you all know, there will be a moderate fee for each event, with sealeds being slightly higher.
 
We will be coming up for Saturday, and staying that night. I hope everyoen has fun Friday night, and I can't wait to play Saturday.
