Guitar Hero: World Tour!!

That "World Tour" game is coming out, for the DS. Basically it is GH3 with 4 frets (with a special controller that hooks to the GBA slot), and you strum the touch screen with a special "Guitar Pick".

Also the next Guitar Hero game (before 4 comes out) is Guitar Hero Aerosmith.

BTW GH4 is going to cost about $200 if you want all the stuff (Guitar, Drums, Microphone, and Game).

The one for the DS is guitar Hero: On Tour. The one that comes out in fall for Consoles is going to be Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Similar names, too confusing.

Agreed. And yeah, I would love a mix of big time songs that everyone knows and really good, more unknown songs and bands, that would make it so much more interesting.
 
Yeah, her song "Nobody's Perfect" is the one. It's the easiest song in the game. GH4 said they put it in there to make the noobs who can't play the hardest song in the game feel better. They said, "This is a very slow song with easy Guitar, Drums, but has hard to master, yet fun Vocals... Perfect for players new to the game."

Hmmm, I think that being able to play an opponent online with one of your/their custom songs would be REALLY SWEET!!

Nah, that'd be a little unfair, because then I could easily make a ridiculously hard song, memorize all the notes quickly and effortlessly (since, you know, I wrote it) and then challenge you online, them laugh in your face as I completely destroy you.

So what kind of songs are you guys gonna make? I personally am going to make I'll be There For You... sans vocals of course. And I'm also gonna make up some wicked songs of my own. But it just suddenly struck me that the opening riff of the Friends theme might be awesome to play.

I have no clue. I'll try my own version of TTFAF!! Or some other AWESOME songs they didn't put in it....
 
the hardest song is possible to get 100% on gh3 its just so improbible youd have to be on like a spike and have like an obsession on gh3 and play it like 24/7

gh4 will be one of the greatest games ever and i can wait for it to come out

I know a local game store that hosts Guitar Hero 3 tournaments. Winner gets $25.00 Gift Card.

I'ma rack 'em up to help pay off for Guitar Hero 4!!

Although, me friend told some REALLY GOOD people, who can play TTFAF on Hyperspeed Expert and still pass, about the tournament, some may show up!! What a rat out, :lol:!
Oh well, I'm gonna go practice....

I'm back, I couldn't beat TTFAF on expert even without Hyperspeed on. I'll try again.

All this talk about Guitar Hero is making me want to play it, lol.
I really hope that they put more Alternative and Metal genres of music in it. Linkin Park is confirmed which is pretty cool, but I want to see some other great bands such as the ones I have already mentioned earlier, plus some lesser known bands would be really cool as well, such as Dream Theater (semi confirmed), Dark Empire, Dir En Grey (one of the best Bassists in the world), Bring Me The Horizon (not going to happen but man would it be awesome).
If I could choose any 5 bands to make it in the game that otherwise wouldn't I would have to say:
Enter Shikari- Not any exceptional guitar playing, but their songs are sooo good!
As I Lay Dying- They have an awesome drummer and their songs are amazing.
Parkway Drive- They're guitar sounds fantastic, and altogether they are quite out of the ordinary.
Clifton- They have a very unique sound. Very south-western like and its really cool. Plus they are from Utah!
Bullet of my Valentine/Trivium- I just see them being a lot of fun to play on the game. lol
 
My friend said that on the Activision website he read that now the songs are going to slow down and speed up as you play. That's gonna be HARD!!

He also said that Nick from the Jonas Brothers is one of 2 confirmed singers. I find this hard to believe, but who knows?

I hate the jonas brothers. I hate them enough to not capitalize their name, even though its a proper noun. If I ever meet them I'ma slap them sillier than a circus clown.

The blue button that you click to take you to the post that is quoted takes me right back to the post in which you quoted Metallica's blog or whatever that is. It leads back to that post.

In the Teaser Video I linked to said it was due Fall 2008 :eek::eek:!!
