If you're going to play 5 Walrein, you need to have 4 Spheals, JMO. Maybe take out a Mantyke? But I understand why Mantyke is good for set up. I'd take out either a Mantyke for a Spheal, or a Walrein MT for something else. Again, JMO.

This is weird. first i had 2 Mantyke and 4 Spheal then 3 Mantyke 3 Spheal. I have night Maintenance so i won't need anymore Spheal. I prolly won't even get to play all 4 if they were in here. Anyway do you think this deck is ready for Battle Roads?

Almost all BR decks are going to be purely experimental, so I'd say go for it. I, personally, really like the idea. Glalie's attack is really cool, and effectively game-winning if you're lucky. Try it out. You'll be in the same boat as every other player.

thanx. Hopefully i'll get the cards i need to test this at the Prerelease. how do you think this deck will do against decks like Infercatty, Mario and R-Gon?

I can tell you about R-Gon. All you have to worry about it Rayquaza d Ex sniping your Pokemon on the bench and hurting your Walrein Ex. Thats about it

too bad he doesn't have a weakness. the higest i can do is Walrein ex + Stadium + 2 Plus Power = 110. well i guess i can KO him, but the chances of me having that in hand are slim. about how many Ray ex's do people run? and someone told me about the speed of Kricketune and i'm a little worried about that. i would use a fire tech, but i don't know which. does Mew d POP5 sound good

if you had Castaway and strength charm with Plus Power would be alot easier. Poeple play about 2 Rayquaza d Ex and can usely set up in 2 turns

As for that Kricketune deck. I can set up fast and 80 damage but with only 80 HP its not a problem

The kricket can kill me on the first turn if i don't get any bench pokemon out. That's the only problem. but i guess there's no way to prevent that. i took a look at Mew d POP5 and he seems pretty good as a tech against Kricket, but i would need other energy cards since he copies the opponent

:thumb:I think you might be thinking about all of this a little too much, I built a feraligatr and Kingler deck and have been using it regularly and like you made it so it would transition over to the new format with no changes. I just think your trying to use too many new cards when there are better things in the sets still avaible to you even after the rotation. And a search engine, I don't think a small 2- Scott will start you decks engine up as quickly as you may need it. As a starter I would say to use MAwile from CG to get those scotts and for the rare candys or mentors if you put em in. I really htink theses changes could benifit this deck, it's pretty cool.

I don't know how i'm thinking about all this too much. I wasn't trying to use alot of new cards, it just happened to be that way when i thought of it. Really, not even half the deck is new. Mantyke is my starter and can help get my bench pokes. i think 2 Scotts is enough cause there isn't enough room for another. Anyway what decks do i need to watch out for and what techs can i use to help against them? for Mario i can use Mewtwo* or Alakzam* and for the Kricketune decks, i can use Mew d POP5 or something like that

If you check the original list, there is no Empoleon line. But, I would say use an Octillery Glalie deck for BRs, since they both have attacks that completly destroy the main tools of the format(trainers and special energy). JMO. But, back to the original deck list. I think it is, currently, a 6, 7, or maybe and 8 out of 10. I think you should ditch the Glalie in the Walrein deck, and shove in a decent Empoleon line, with, of course, 1 Lv.X. Again, these are only my opinions.

Empoleon is too slow and the LV.X is too hard to get.Glailie is good in this deck because of his attack. i don't know about the Glailie/Octillery deck cause it relies too much on cards not released yet and that means i would have to try to get all the cards i need at the Prerelease, and i think Walrein is way better than Octillery. if this list is better then i'll think about it.
