I'm bringing OK's best to take the Glass home.
Just sayin'.
We're definitely going to be partyin' it up down there over the weekend!

ATTENTION EVERYONE!1!!
After the success of brining my Wii to States for everyone to play Brawl and enjoy after most of us missed Top Cut, I will be brining it to Regionals as well.
Someone should bring guitar hero or a 360 and try to beat me
Wow! What a great set of events! I may just have to "pilfer" one, but, in good fun, I will post my side events next week, allowing you to "pilfer" one of my ideas as well.
You know, once, just once, I would love to travel to a Cook Regional, or a BDS Regional, and experience the party...Best of luck to all!!

8. DS tournament - This event will be held AFTER Swiss rounds of the card tournament. If you make the top cut in the card tournament, you'll have to make a decision, continue or drop to play the DS. Sorry, this is the ONLY time we have for this event. The DS tournament is for people that played in the card tournament ONLY. Rules will be put up shortly.
2. Cosplay - Dress like your favorite Pokémon or character. Head to toe, whatever. All age divisions will be judged together.
Team Cook said:4. Create-A-Card contest - Simple, create-a-card, we'll judge on FUNNY. We want FUNNY, CRAZY attacks, pokebodies or powers. Anything boring will get thrown away, lol. We want FUNNY. FUNNY ONLY. Juniors & Seniors will be judged together and Masters will be separate. Entries must be turned in at front desk when you arrive.
Rules please?
Do we have to draw the card? Or is there a template?
Coming today. Len, who ran the States event, will run the Regionals one as well. Look for a few changes. He will come on and announce anything and everything regarding this.
Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:
It can be a template. Remember, we're looking for FUNNY. We want to read your card and LAUGH. If we're not laughing, you ain't winning.
but Mike I always laugh when I see you, can u promise a hurricane since Dallas got the blizzard, and make sure there is no road apples in the gaming area, 3 card monte on the patio, bring your lunch money kidz:thumb:, QUOTE]
have to try to get to this one after I pay cousin Barack:nonono:, since Demarc won with my deck, gotta see where XxMarc's build differs:thumb:, Mike u gotta tag Fish for a judge as that person is berating our favorite loud speaker:nonono:
Expect to see a guy from Louisiana, *cough* me *cough*, top.
How can you talk smack if you're coughing all the time?:lol: Tell the Louisiana players to load up the cars an get to Houston.
Pretty sure LA is bringing the squad this year so don't worry.
Hey Mike, I recently read the Regional Championships FAQ, which said that the maximum top cut allowed will be 32.
I have a hunch that the answer to this is "wait and see," but if attendance warrants a T32 cut as more appropriate than T16, will it happen, or will T16 be maintained as a time-saving device?
Most of us Masters, as you know well, are willing to bleed our eyes out (figure of speech...I think) if it means a 32 cut.
If we can do a top 32, then I'll do a top 32, I PROMISE. I have no issues running as many rounds as possible. We have NO time limit and don't have to worry about lights.
I would LOVE a t32 cut.
