Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Houston Regionals - April 17 (Main thread)

Let me know where you will be camping this weekend and I will come in the midlle of the night with a BIG POKE-BEAR-HUG for you. Do you feel the love, now?

I'm actually feeling rather. . . . .disturbed.

I definitely should've been more specific. The Poké-Gym community isn't feeling the love. I could never even begin to doubt the feelings of my North Texas Poké-Community.

You just save that big ol' hug for the Prerelease next weekend.

A little late on this, haven't been surfing here much but I wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who ran the tournament, and played in it for putting on a good show.

No, I have not uploaded the tournament, I've been in the hospital. I'm planning on uploading the event tomorrow and will let y'all know when it's been done.

Given this new info, I'm very sorry about the tone of the e-mail I sent you. :(

Thanks to all for the well wishes.

What happened was I got a cut on my leg/ankle two weeks prior to Regionls. The week of Regionals I was feeling pain and noticed something weird on my ankle and it was really hurting, shooting all the up to my thigh. I knew if I went to the doctor I'd miss Regionals or have to stay seated at the least. I decided to wait and go to the doctor the following Monday. I got through Regionals, rested on Monday and on Tuesday evening the pain finally got so bad that Mia took me to the emergency room where they automatically sent me upstairs to the hospital. I have a bad infection and somehow it got in the blood vein, ouchy mama.

It's pretty much my fault. If I had just gone to the doctor earlier it wouldn't be this bad but I was afraid of missing Regionals, lol.

I'm better now, all drugged up and feelin' no pain. I got to get the event uploaded today, the net & cable have been out all day and we finally got it back, so now I can get to work.

Thanks again for the well wishes.

Ok Tiny, listen to ole' Birch. I am old and wise. Sit down and prop up your leg...get sweet Mama Mia to run down to MacDonald's ...have her get you that "Big Mac" and SUPER SIZE IT...when she gets home eat that sucker down...kick back and take a nap. When you wake up, have Mama Mia do it all again. Three times a day and you should be feels up to normal in no time at all. If she asks where you got this presrciption, tell her "Birch, MP".

Glad to here that you are feeling better!!! See you at "Nationals".

A big thanks to Sherri for running The Woodlands leagues for us on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were actually at the Tuesday league when Mike finally agreed to go to the hospital.

The doctors were afraid that it might be a blood clot. It turns out it was an infection that got into the veins. They admitted him for observation and more tests. Mike did not want to stay, but I just went home without him.

The nurses took good care of him. They even had him in one of those cute little printed hospital gowns that open from the back! Imagine that!

And when I went to pick him up, the nurses came to the room to say goodbye to him! It was funny, like they were saying goodbye to a little kid!
