Houston, Texas Regionals - TWO DAY event

Want another raffle ticket? Here's another way to get an extra raffle ticket:

Use the Deck Creator here on the Gym. This will save you a lot of time and make it easier on the judges during deck checks. We will have 10 judges deck checking from 8:30 - 10:15 to keep the line down.


Speaking of deck checks, your pop id # AND date of birth MUST BE ON THE DECKLIST. We will not check your deck if your number isn't on the sheet. No exceptions. A fully completed deck list form (with all the requested information) is your entry to the tournament.



To all league leaders:

For the league leaders that will be attending, please bring a list of your players & their numbers if possible.
 
Just a reminder that IHOP has provided us their banquet room for Friday night practice 6:00 pm - midnight. Save your appetite, they have good food.

Coming from Dallas:

Exit Rayford / Sawdust, get it right lane on the feeder road. IHOP on the right, can't miss it.

We will not have a "card" vendor at Regionals and as y'all know, we've never had one. We will entertain the thought of having a card vendor for our next large event. Honestly, we just need more time to work out all the details, it's not as easy as "hey I want to buy & sell cards" and "okay, come on in and sell".

I am excited about having someone in Texas that wants to deal in Pokemon cards and we have notified them that we are interested in working with them once they get more established and known by the Texas Pokemon player base.

I promise that if this is what you want, we'll try and make it happen.

We'll have a GIANT Pokemon wall set up for drawings & coloring. We're looking for Masters to come in and draw anything Pokemon, then let the Juniors & Seniors come in and color everything in. We'll also do a wall for the Masters. This isn't coloring pages taped to the wall, we're drawing and coloring ON the wall.

We've received a couple of PM's about sleeves. Yes, we'll have sleeves there, and yes, we'll have them in a variety of colors, lol.

By popular request, most of the sleeves will be 70-ct, but there are going to be a few 100-ct packs.

Not bad...I'm staying in the same area, booked the Rodeway a few miles away for $115 for 2 nights out the door.
 
The Spring area is fine... Your best bets are The Woodlands and Shenandoah, then Spring, which are all right next to each other.

Houston is big, and of course, there are good and bad areas. The area around the Race Park is good, but there are some not so pretty areas around.
 
Hey Mike (or anyone else reading this),
I posted in the League forum trying to score some energy. This obviously lead me to the Professor Store, but it doesn't have energy anymore. So, it was suggested I ask a "local" PTO if they had some energy to spare. Since I don't have a local PTO and I'm sure a few will be gathered in Houston, does anyone have any energy to spare that they could bring: buy, sell, trade, free, its whatever I can get.
