To my knowledge, those are the abbreviations for countries. I didn't see Japan on there, which I've seen abbreviated as JP.

wow.. that is alot of professors in the US... we got what 10-15 in colorado or so.... but one of them is underage and will be expiring soon but still, that is encouraging to see so many prof.
