I'm Tired of Team HT

Lol why would they take this to states when:

GG ruins their entire deck.
Flygon eats it's BTS for breakfast.
Gyarados outspeeds it completely and if you're lucky then they'll discard your Karps for you. xD
I can imagine Spiritomb hurts this pretty badly as well.

All it takes to beat GG is to go second, or if they whiff on power-lock T2-onward.

Flygon can Sand Lol all it wants. DCE + Belt + a Lucario GL tech results in OHKOs, which are worth a turn of no milling. And that assumes we don't mill your Flygons before you can play them.

Our testing shows that we mill too many of Gyarados' crucial recursion mechanisms for them to keep up in this matchup.

i wondered that myself, and it's speculated to make a big comeback with DCE. they knock out the gardi only to give more than likely two prizes with a belt to the gallade. and their "mill" never sees the light of day.

this is the the dominant deck of the texas oklahama region, expect the oklahomies (austin, hutch)
and the texans (kettler bros., robbie, and many others) to be playing this exclusively at a tourney near you. im glad i get to tech for this.

There is a faster, safer, way to get rid of your opponent's 43 cards than this.

lol. I'm sure the Kettler brothers will play something a bit more competitive...

Lol, do you mean Team HeyTrainer or Team HATTER? I don't think I ever saw this deck posted on HeyTrainer, and I especially don't consider a 500 person board to be a "team."

Anyways, you really ought to run Spiritomb - it makes you that much more competitive against SP since you're able to guarantee discards.

P.S. Are you kindaguy???

He's talking about bringing your lighter and using while they're looking at the Power Spray in their hand, deciding to use it on Rhyperior or not.

We wouldn't waste our team with this deck -.-, loses to Legos' anyway

wow, betraying your own team just like that, if you were part of my family...you'd be dead... (if you know me and my lineage, you may find this comment very funny)

I'm sure we appreciate any decks brought to the gym by anyone. If it's a deck brought here for deck advice, I'm sure we'll all appreciate the chance to try to make it better. However if the deck is brought here in retribution for problems on another site, or to reveal a secret deck of one team or another, it's best to be on your guard. Who are we to say this deck is the real deal? Lafonte tried to pawn off a joke deck a while back, so they could a) laugh at those who were gullible enough to copy it, and b) use the real secret deck to squash it. I don't know you well enough to either confirm your story, or your altruism, nor can I find any specifics that are wrong with it, however I will be more than happy to disregard it on general principles. I'd rather build a deck of something I can trust. Sorry, but that's just my opinion.

yes lafonte is sleezy but when youre the best in the world why not and try to make everybody run a deck that is easy to counter thats not very sportsmanlike but i guess it was our fault to run a SD that was leaked?!? i can say that i wont be running rhyfable (name fail...)

The thing is, elites have and will toy with people.

But when are they telling the truth?

BigChuck01 writes a nationals analysis article for the Gym and rates Banette ex as one of the worst plays and proceeds to X-0 swiss with it when he himself runs Banette ex.

Everyone knows about the Claydol ex push by Lafonte as well as the level contest.

You never expect what's right in front of you to hit you.

I could post my secret deck on the front page and there would still be the same theorymon artists making fools of themselves. That's the point with these things, if and when people try to mess with others, it's to create a situation where people will say absurd and ridiculous things which come back to bite them. Be careful what you say and think ;)

okay, let me get this straight: first, the 'good players' say the 'gym articles suck and are worthless because 'nobodies' write them.

second, one of the so-called 'good players' writes an article which we publish in good faith to our front page...which is full of misinformation in order to screw with players and the meta to their own advantage at nationals?

o, rly? or have i missed something here?

'mom =/

1. good players used to write articles. players like martin, moss, chuck, etc. then they stopped, and completely unheard of players with few accomplishments, writing poor lists, became a mainstream sight of the articles on the gym.

2. well, the article was actually extremely accurate. he was probably one of a handful of like 3-4 people that ran the deck at nationals. all the information was spot on, including what seemed to be the banette ex matchups, etc. i had to wonder if he didn't try to dissuade people from using a deck he wanted to use by posting that it had horrible dragtrode matchup, rocklock, umbreon ex, etc etc.and highlighted the poor aspects of the decks and didnt really honor the highlights. he just didnt face those decks, and when he did they would prize cards like umbreon ex, etc. and he proceeded to do extremely well at nats with a deck he rated as low and poor in the metagame.

the problem is- all of the information is correct and valid. same with any positive arguments people used in the case of claydol ex. you see people arguing the positive theorymon of cards so well that people are convinced of absurdities and use biases to convince themselves into absurd positions, and this is usually the source of interest in trolling.
