Well it doesn't seem like Butterfree will give you the win vs Monarchy like Bellossom did to Walrein. If Queen does 90 becomes 60 heal 20 the next 90 to 60 ko's you. So it's still just a 2hit ko. The big thing that is missing which I'm sure you know is the counter gyms. Seems like playing against Ruins or now Mt moon for the entire game could really hurt. Otherwise nice job in fitting all that.
Not in this deck but if he played more Butterfree it would help a lot against Monarchy. Why you ask? Well if Nidoqueen is able to do 90 then you should have a couple Butterfree out already as well. (even though 2 Butterfee should be enough) Butterfree gets hit with 90, becomes 60, gets healed 10 and another 10 after turn so it becomes 40, Butterfree can then free retreat to another Butterfree and the that one sits on the bench and gets healed 20 each turn. (keep switching back and forth between the two) Also most likely Butterfree will be set up first since Caterpie is faster than any of the Nidoran.

I never read other posts, but althuogh this new one was a bit better, three POR? wtf =/. And still that stregth charm. What does it KO? Rayquaza needs 3 energy to KO anything good anyways, and not many things have like 130 HP =/. 3 TVR/3 Research is kinda =/.

The only thing a strength charm would help to OHKO would be a 90HP beedrill. But if that does come up, I would feel Blaziken would be a better idea.

SomethingElse, I didn't even realize he dropped Delcatty. That sucks=/. Pidgeot/Delcatty is an ownage combo. If he wants to do this he can still fit in EITHER tam or butterfree, but he should keep the delcatty.

4 TV Reporter, along with when stuff dies, but delcatty slows it down too much, by dropping trainers, and keep in counter stadiums becuase it will be mt. mooned a lot and then still be completely useless...

Joner you get out what you need for each matchup. I don't get all that crap out every game. The deck is structured so I pull what I need when I need it. I'm not trying to get a big bex like most other blaz players do. Its not how the deck plays. You even said that I stated the bench so read it and stfu. I don't know where you see this superior garbage, I've posted nothing saying I'm a better player than anyone on this board. I just called someone spamming awful. I know I'm a good player and I don't have to prove it to anyone.

Seriously people should playtest without delcatty. It runs the same if not better. If I'm not starting with dunsparce then I'd rather have TVR anygame. Pidgeot is simply enough to get all you want. Again I'm not playing to get that t2 bex so the extra fire in the discard is not needed early. By the time I need it, stuff has happened that puts enough fire in the discard. Also POR unlike popular opinion is NOT a bad card.

In Ohio people play good decks. That good deck just happens to be Nidos so I need tech to combat it. I dunno about your Nidos but if I do just 100 here its going to get Brineyed. Strength Charm gets me a huge tempo advantage that they aren't going to be able to comback from.

Joner- I think you don't ummm how do I put it, understand how this deck is intended to work. At first, I didn't like the Butterfree at all, but after some testing with it against my Nido, agree it is a GREAT card that turns a new auto loss into a win a majority of the time. The fact that you even argue the bench space is a big glaring sign you don't understand how the deck works in this format. You get 2 Blaziken, and the draw cards, and whatever Pokemon help in the match up. Rayquaza gets used like one shot than dies, so you make it count. You play the cards you need. The evos you can even RC into to drop in a turn. Its extremely verstile.

The strength charms and the Butterfree have great synergy. First off, they allow for the OHKO of Nidoqueen. Second of all, they are surprise cards in general. They can turn games around when a player plays around the fact that you will have 10 HP left. Such as Raindancing to a Magneton once. OOPS. take 60. they lose major tempo plus a Magneton. Useful in general. So many players will bank a game on 10 HP and it can throw the entire game in ones favor. The other key is the Turbo Zapdos deck. Arguably one of the top decks in the format, and also very strong vs Blaziken. Blaziken EX plus a Str Charm OHKOs it. So does 2 Blaz shots plus a Str Charm. Str Charm is effective in multiple situations against some of the best decks in the format.

Manectric has two uses. Besides simply abusing its power, it resists metal, and is also EXTREMELY helpful vs Gorebyss too. Or anything lightning weak, like Zapdos as well. Or mirror match Butterfree. As for the debate between Delcatty and TVR. It really depends. I personally like Delcatty better. In this version, with less bench space, I do like TVR though. I would probably try Catty myself if I used it, but Drew has tested this more than me.

How does InSaNiTy need Magneton? First of all, since I was the one who first designed InSaNiTy ( me and Monkeyman ) the idea was originally based around a 4-4 Delcatty line. Magneton was added to compensate for this, nothing else. Second of all, InSaNiTy later became known based on the presence of alot of tech cards, such as the Bellossom, and the TAM, and so on. So in tradition of the latest versions of InSanIty, it IS still said deck.

Also, Drew has every right to call the deck InSaNiTy as him and Tom Dolezal do 90% of the testing for the deck. I gave up on it the old format for most of the time, and they took over. So I think they would have the say over what is, and what isn't the deck.

When determining what Blaziken list is the best, you need to realize that Blaziken is good enough no matter how you build it to beat most decks. It runs into the problems of a couple of decks. Nidoking, some Water decks, and Zapdos. Butterfree plus Str Charm nails 2 of them head on, and between it, Rayquaza and TAM, you deal with the Water. As long as you dont get rid of the general consistancy, which hasn't been done here, which matters more? How badly you beat decks you would win vs anyways, or still beating them yet beating harder to beat decks? Exactly. That is what Drew did with his list.

Also, I think its better Drew says an idea is bad than not comment on it, as it will help those " not so good " players as u say exist on all the boards, to become better players. You dont have to accept every idea if it simply isn't good. I'd rather people be blunt and honest about it. If you call it stuck up or mean, fine. I'd rather you be truthful than continue to let others make mistakes in deck building. Try and post what you consider the best, and don't settle for less.

dude, joner, apparently you dont know drew at all. .

Chris, I see your points about all the different cards helping Blaze, but there is no way you can fit all of them in. Something has to be left out. Like currently Drew isn't using Manectric which does have a lot of uses. Butterfree is good vs Nidos, but Quaza and Pidgeot do resist them too so it looks a little overboard going against them. Also I don't really see how this could keep up with Zapdos, cause they can try to reversal Pidgeot which is your main draw/searcher, and without multiples out, like Catty, then I dunno what you can do. I guess I'll have to test this out a little but at least Drews list looks like it's aimed totally to beat Nidos, which isn't a bad thing, but then what do you do vs other stuff? It just looks like Stoise, Zapdos, and one other deck I know of would beat this pretty consistently. I also don't like how there are 13 basics and if you don't start with Sparce it looks like it's hard to set up, like get the plan ready against a certain deck, you know.

Hmmm, I am definently going to have to test this list, why isn't it on neo?

Anyway, I believe the butterfree is almost required to make the list successful against nidoking. Pidgeot is a horrible attacker, 40 against a nidoqueen while it swings back for however much, plus having time to build up additional nidos isn't my idea of winning with blaze, you need to get quick ko's and force nido to make sacrifices.

Besides, it's a great extra weapon against other decks (do you really need it against zap though, zap gets a OHKO against it). I just hope all of the extra synergy holds while keeping consistency in the deck works out. I'm actually interested in the mirror match though. Theoretically, the regular blaze deck would still have more consistency due to less tech.

Hey wow big surprise the couple from Ohio went against me. And yes, Quaza is incredibly fine for handling Nidos as well. "In Ohio people play good decks" is an example of your "superior mind frame" that no one else can help you as you are too good for everyone. WHy do you even bother posting your decks on the gym then?

Hay, Kapai Drew. You only played Pidgeot, no Delcatty.

Anyways, the deck tat Drew played on that tourny day i think was wayyyy better than the first list. But i would at least say:

-1 Butterfree
-1 Caterpie
-1 POR

+1 TA Manectric
+1 Archie
+1 TV Reporter

Otherwise Kapai deck (btw, Kapai means well done)

Joner- I replied not because he is in Ohio, but because I've played with, and against the deck. You are looking to grasp at things that aren't there just to have an arguement because we didn't exactly " Get Along " in a chat awhile back. I think rather than discuss who someone is or who supports who or whatever we look at it in a TCG aspect, since this is a TCG board, no?

Rayquaza is CRAP vs Nido. The fact you even joked about its effectiveness means you haven't used a valid Nido list yet. Any good Nido list runs Pidgeot. DRE on Pidgeot. 70, no retreat. Ruins. Good game. Thanks for the prizes. Rayquaza does nothing vs Nido. A good Nido is like 90-10 against a normal Blaziken. I do agree that Pidgeot Delcatty is AMAZING combo wise but may not be the best. My version uses it. I'm not going to say you know nothing about Blaziken, but I will claim you know nothing about Nidoking. If you don't realize the massive problems in the match up, than obviously you'd view the deck varient used here as unnecissary. Its very simple when you look at the mere fact that all of Nido's pokes have 120 HP. They aren't EXes. Only ray can OHKO them. They deal massive damage to you. Your forced into using EXes. They take more prizes plus have Ruins. It gets ugly really fast and even with a better set up you still lose.

As to Joners claim about being stuck up and snotty. Am I stuck up and snotty? HELL YES I AM! :) and I take pride in it personally. Everyone knows I am, but I am also willing to help someone out, and give legitimate advice if someone asks. Drew on the other hand is far from egotistical. I know egotistical. I AM egotistical. He is far from it.

As for references to "ohio uses good decks " that can be taken rudely or simply by the fact that at our league we have 3 15+ top32, one being 2nd, and one t8, and a 10- t8 player. Not to mention a GC winner and very experienced players with many long listed credentials. Whether its said rudely or not, most Leagues do not have as solid of player base. Most places have deteriorated over time with the massive decrease in players at the end of WotCs run. Its not an opinion, its a fact. In addition to that, most players at our league do Apprentice testing every day. Besides weekly leagues, alot of people get extra testing which alot of people don't do. I know almost everyone who does use it. There are alot of great players out there, even on these boards. Yet most of them are isolated, and not in the same area in terms of testing. I don't mean to take anything away from an individual player, but we are VERY blessed to be gifted with such a concentrated area of strong players who are willing to put in the effort to test as often as they do.

Anyways, if ya want to bash people go on ahead, direct it at me, someone who deserves it for being an egotistical maniac. I'll take the comments ;) So don't say this is some sort of " Ohio Conspiracy " or whatever. I'd defend anyone whose deck I feel is good.

I was refering to how many good players we have in the area compared to other places. Not too much competition in Canada as far as I know. Zard/Aggron anyone?

LOL n2m competition in Canada eh o man

that makes me sad XD but i like making jokes outta my ****** decks and i pray to god that they win and they do for some odd reason lol XD

Hey um yeah FYI out of like the two players that came from Canada, one made top 4, which isnt bad. Also, I have nowhere to playtest IRL. The only way I can test decks is online. And btw, Rayquaza isn't as bad against Nidoking as you say it is. If they bring pidgeot up, it could be a mistake. DRE Pidgeot 70+ maybe runis is 80, leaving Quaza with 20 HP, switch, firesterter twice, use multi, and pidgeot is dead, possibly crippling them for the game. Now, not saying blaziken has the advantage against Nidoking, that is stupid. But Rayquaza helps a lot in this matchup. I g2g now, so I wont say much, but what I don't get is why you're like admitting these things you are. You think it's like cool or somthing to admit and "be honest" about what you are? If you like know it's bad, then why don't you change it -_-
