KidsWB announces Fall schedule

Here's the whole thing.

But here's the interesting part:

Kids WB will unveil new episodes of various returning series, including: MegaMan NT Warrior (26 episodes); Yu-Gi-Oh! (25 episodes); Pokémon (52 episodes); Jackie Chan Adventures (13 episodes); ¡Mucha Lucha! (13 episodes); What's New Scooby-Doo? (13 episodes); and Xiaolin Showdown (26 episodes). Teen Titans will also be on the fall schedule.

KidsWB ordered more than twice as many Pokemon episodes than Yu-Gi-Oh. Heck, MegaMan NT Warrior and the ultra-crappy Xiaolin Showdown had more episodes ordered (unless that 25 is just a typo, and 26 was intended, in which case they'd have the same amount, and be exactly half as many as Pokemon). Is there just not much Yu-Gi-Oh left to be had, or is Yu-Gi-Oh loosing steam? Or both? Cause it seems like in the past they would've ordered a full 52 episodes, I think.

I think it may be because they like to run Pokemon year round, but with Yu-Gi-Oh and the other shows they want a season break.

The reason for that is because Pokemon has been the number one show on Kids' WB in various categories for the last 3 months. It is more popular than YGO according to the ratings, and that is most likely why they are airing way more episodes.

also, I don't think we're that far behind on YGO as we are on Pokemon Advanced. I'm sure that they've already translated and recorded the voices for Pokemon, but YGO isn't.

Oh no! Not Megaman! That show...i gave it a chance, watched every ep of the season...gave it a thumbs down. It just wasnt worth waking up for. I would much rather Astro Boy in its spot...

I think its great they Costco ordered Poképisodes. The show has witnessed a sudden spike in quality. Last week's episode was great! The week before was great too. I loved the arons' collective arg's. I have hi expectations for the coming eps.

Oh, yeah, and Xiaolin Showdown is great! I could see a video game, easy!

One more thing! Do you know if the Jacki Chan eps will be new? I am under the impression that they are based on what you said. I thought the show ended for good. I guess you could see Jacki Chan Adventures as the Michael Jordan of cartoons, in that you can never tell when he's out for keeps.

no Static? No good. That's the best non-Japanese anime that they've got, and they're dumping it AGAIN...

As long as there isn't any new Ozzy and Drix, I'm content. Then again..Much Lucha still continues. What is up with everyone getting into the wrestling shows all of a sudden? Ultimate Muscle does a fine job and should remain as the only one. :\

As far as Yu-Gi-Oh! goes, the dub is annoying as is. No one's really tuning in because the little mini-series involving Seto's step brother is really just..stupid and seems like the equivalent to the Garlic Jr Saga from DBZ to YGO, sidetracking from Yugi's duel with Mallik.

I'm ticked off at many of the DC Comics snubs that they have on there, including, but not limited to...

Static Shock
Justice League
Batman Beyond
The New Batman/Superman Adventures (for those of you who don't remember, it's basically the precursor to Justice League, and much better)

you know, i was going to make a thread dedicated to what you would/n't want to see on the saturday morning line up. But I guess it works here..

I can only think of these shows as slot worthy: Pokémon, Astro Boy, Static Shock, YGO, Batman Beyond, Batman: The Animated Series, and i guess that's it for now...

Definately not worth a slot: The Zeta Project, Superman, [That one with the ghost buster-type kids in stop motion animation], Generation O, The Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans, and any incarnation of Scooby Doo!!!

TV Worthy: Pokemon (kiddie bait), YGO (more of the same), Justice League (I like this thing a ton), Jackie Chan (always good), Static (One of the better DC Comics shows)

NOT TV Worthy: Mucha Lucha, Xolian Showdown, Astro Boy (I don't like the thing)

yeah showdown, astro boy, mucha lucha, static, jackie chan, all of them are NOW horrible, the original chan adventures made a little sense, and now they are just looking for magic things to collect!!!

but pokemon, YGO (after this stupid NOAH thing), batman beyond...... ok those are the only three that are actually worth it....

they should be forced to show an entire dual in YGO, not two moves and 18 minutes of random talking....... arrrggg that's why i don't like that show
