It's not broken at all really...you have to put so much setup into it to be doing either the 200 damage with the delcatty combo or milling/bench spread with the second attack. And next format Mesprit/Hunter will be really popular, and that shuts off alot of the setup of getting it out, getting it powered, and reusing the attack to full power.

^Less than 10. 6 prizes + 7 cards in opening hand is 13. It's going to take you a few turns to get this bad boy out, so you can at least assume 7 cards are removed from the deck by natural draw, search, etc. So 8 at max really.

I doubt you'll win much on deck out when the attack does so much bench damage based on your luck, and if they play no bench you just kill the active with the other attack. The discard 5 is nice because it can discard key cards of your opponent's, not so much because you can deck someone out in the same amount of time you could've won using regular conditions.

Just getting it used ONCE will change games. I know that I've won games having Flygon LvX out for a single turn because it discarded something huge in that one turn. Normally, though, you'll need to attack between 4 and 6 times with the attack to ensure a win. 2 or 3 would be sweet before a G8r hits, though.

Eh, I'm still more in favor of using Massive Eruption comboed with Delcatty PL, 200 a turn is enough to OHKO any Pokemon, so at max you'd only need to attack 6 times as opposed to 8 or so .

Of course unless you're playing a mirror match...that would be a bit awkward. Probably not use Massive Eruption as much then lol.

I'm new to this, but I'll take a stab at it. Maybe run Furret+Dunsparce and HS Ampharos line? Elm Ampharos and candy Mareep, then use the others to get the pieces. Might make a wierd deck type-wise. Returner could also keep you from decking out with the second attack. Just throwing the idea out there.

The Espeon looks pretty cool. I just hope they give other cheaper attacks. Give us a 1-energy attach, a few 2-energy attachs, and no more than 2-3 3-energy attacks. No 4-energy attacks, as it will be too hard to power up in time.

And what is great about Primes is that you can run 4 of them, if needed, unlike Lv.Xs.

Not exactly an old pro either, but Collector -> Elm gives you everything but the Candy for Gatr, or Darkness Grace with a Spiritomb start can do the same as you use your supporters to search/draw into KGL pieces. And Legend Box can still get your titan out all on its own, and possibly throw a couple energy onto it for free.

As bulbados said, you only need to Mega Tidal Wave once for it to change the game. Even if you whiff for damage, you've probably discarded 5 cards that your opponent really didn't want to lose. Perhaps not as good a card as people are making it out to be, but not unplayable either.

This is very true, with decks like Luxchomp being so strict and concise, 5 cards could really wreck their day, but it will most likely attack twice for many decks, that is 10 cards, that is a lot.

He was definitely talking about Collector getting 2 Legend pieces and a Totodile, which is impossible. ERL would find itself in almost everything if that were the case.
