He was definitely talking about Collector getting 2 Legend pieces and a Totodile, which is impossible. ERL would find itself in almost everything if that were the case.

And you are 100% of his intentions writting that despite him saying "as you use your supporters to search/draw into KGL pieces. And Legend Box can still get your titan out all on its own, and possibly throw a couple energy onto it for free." which mention viable ways to achieve the result, how exactly? I'm not saying you are wrong, becasue I don't know. I didn't type it. Neither did you.

It will be interesting to see how much this sees use if we don't get legend Box (or really even if we do). It'd be cool to see some Farfetch'd SF + Legened Box based decks with a few 2/2 Legends to increase the likelyhood Box nabs them :D

Hmm... This + Spiritomb + Floatzel + Lucians + Judge could make for a very interesting mill... Too bad Ryperior DP will be out of play.

Sorry; my bad. I missed where he said draw into the KGL pieces. It seems that I'm not the only one that made that mistake, though.

That Espeon's Poke-power is awesome. Too bad the attack isn't great.

And the Legend's artwork is amazing.

He said that Collector and Elm's "gets you everything", implying that it gets the entire base for the combo (GKL and all). He should have said, "gets you the Gatr", or something along those lines. Lots of things "get you everything" in that case (when you only want the Gatr), such as Dual Ball, Call, Stantler, Pokemon Communication, Bebe's Search, etc. and any combination of them. The fact that he referenced Collector specifically refers itself to the intent to pick a total of three cards out of the deck instead of simply the needed single card, Totodile.

more importantly, does it really matter?

Hmm... with a strong uxie line and beefy ball/communcation engine, this could work.
But only if we get legend box, if not then it'll be harder.
Play 2-3 DCE. Turn 2-3 get gatr set-up and attach 2 energys to the legend and attach DCE for turn, your set.
Or you could attach 3-4 waters, and attach a fighting for turn.
I think you could play it two ways.
1. Delcatty/Massive Eruption
2. Gatr/ Mega Tidal Wave

But doing both in one deck could slow it down.

No, I was referring to Collector getting a Totodile, and possibly whatever other basics you need to set up. I know Legend cards aren't considered Basics, I got caught by that with everyone else back when the mechanic was announced for Japan. I also said "gets everything but the candy for Gatr," which I realize could be interpreted the way you did, but I meant that it sets up Gatr except for the necessary Rare Candy. Sorry for the confusion.

@ Lion King: I definitely think you're right, you'll have to pick one attack or the other, trying to run both will be just too busy. I personally think the disruptive power of Mega Tidal Wave makes for a better attack, though a consistent 200+ damage a turn is tempting.

@gallade: How would Floatzel help?

KyGro is not easy to OHKO, therefore running SSU in this deck is very tempting, in particular because you can reattach the energy anyway. SP in particular will have a rough time getting rid of him, though one might argue Loluxray, he generally does NOT OHKO you. If you manage to make your opponent play as if facing a regular Gatr deck, then they might even waste their Flash Bites there.

why are people even talking about the second attack? the first attack is sooooo boss. discard 5 cards is monstrous AND THAN you have the 30 x energy cards found. so one will most probably find 1-2 so do that twice = 120 to the all bench. == the second attack is bad to the bone. your millimg yourself thus discarding usefull stuff and only being able to KO the active pokemon == for FOUR energies.

oh, just bringing back this huge pokemon, and everything attached to it, i mean, not that good...

^ Gl. LV.X. Send it up when KGL is KOed, it's returned to your hand. along with 4 water energy. Play it, Raindance, free retreat floatzel > MillSpread.
