Limited Damage Create a Card Challenge!

Alright there folks! Welcome to another CaC Challenge! What’s that? Why did I wait so long to do another one? Well… Either the Russians attacked… (No offence Russians) or I have been unable to spend a lot of time online due to real life happenings!

Anyway, this time there will not be a grand prize winner and multiple ‘mini-winners’. Instead there will be five winners who will EACH receive a unique, yet simple, animation. That means five different animations all together! :thumb: Oh yea… Onto the actual challenge,

The challenge is to make a card that is good (not broken) WITHOUT doing much damage! That’s right; there is a limit to how much damage your pokemon can do! Your pokemon can only do 10 damage for every energy in the attack cost, like (C)(C) would do a max of 20, and you can’t add to the damage with effects!

So, without further ado, once you read the rules you can get started! Anything not in the rules is fair play unless I say so later!

1. You may make a Lv.X, but your final stage must be underpowered in order to do so! No powerful pokemon with a massive Lv. X!

2. Only pokemon cards. No Trainers, Supporters, Energy, or anything else that isn’t a pokemon.

3. Your pokemon can only do 10 damage (Or place 1 damage counter) for each energy in its attack cost.

4. Your pokemon may not do any of the following in any of the effects of the attacks, Poke-tools, poke-powers, or poke-bodies past the damage the rules allow.

Place damage counters, change base damage, do damage, add damage, multiply damage, or knock out any of your opponent’s pokemon.

No loophole exploiting for this rule!!!

5. All damage done adds up, meaning you could not do 10 to two of your opponent’s pokemon for (C).

6. You may make as many cards as you like!

*New* 7. No more poke-anything, or attacks that change the base value of any pokemon's HP.

Here’s a quick example!

Zangoose Lv.43 80 (C)
Basic pokemon
Poke-body: Immunity
While Zangoose is your active pokemon, Zangoose is unaffected by the effects of your opponent’s active pokemon’s attack’s, poke-powers, and poke-bodies.
(C) False Slash 10
Flip two coins; if any of the coins are heads discard one special energy card attached to the defending pokemon.
(C) Hunt
Search your deck for a pokemon or supporter card and add it to your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.
Weakness: (F) +20
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: (C)

Enjoy the contest! (Note: More challenging than the other challenges!) :thumb::cool::biggrin::wink:

Oh, this is going to be easier than I thought. Anyway, Charmander Rox, Burst on Wheezing says it only activates if it was knocked out by the effect of an opponent's attack... Don't you just mean attack?

Loopholes ahoy!

I knew it, right as I typed 'don't make any loopholes!' that they would just pour out of everywhere... :nonono:

charmander rox - You can't have your pokemon do 10x and due to rule 4, it can only do 10, no multiplying.

meditite rox - Nice try, no-go for stantler, here comes poke-tools for another thing you can't abuse.

Poliwag can't add more damage with it's effect, says so right in the rulings.

And Politoad can't multiply, says that in the rulings too...

Muscovy Level X - no, you're fine, there is nothing that says you can't increase how much damage poison does...
