Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Live... From Origins

Since I feel like I am half Carolinian by now...WTG Kevin and Tad! That whole region rocks and I know they are well represented at Nats! Plus, a certain Fer let a couple of Tennessee fellas tag along!

you had some doubt about that???? Go count the NC/SC that are there!
why we there to take the house down? i will be there tomorrow to add another North Carolinian

MEW....None of the 10e kids have won trips yet! Hopefully they will have a great run this weekend! I figure since Im not there, nor can I get there in like 45 minutes to watch them bring home the gold in case I need too, 1 of them will get a trip! Hopefully if no one else, Dylibird will since he's had the best of luck this season! He deserves it! Not that the other 2 dont, but you know what I mean! He has came the closest all year round, 2nd here, 2nd there & so on! So with all hope, at the least, 1 will get a trip! Now if 2 of them gets a trip, thats AWESOME! So we shall see!

I know you asked us not to ask what decks they are playing, but any info in this regard would be nice. Thanks, if it's possible.

Unfortunatey, deck lists aren't required for the preliminary events (they are not sanctioned). Also, we can see the play area from the podium but not the cards/decks that are being played (I'm too old and decrepid to see that far)

More Updates:
Its like midnight and after this I am going to get some sleep for the prof cup tomorrow. I'm staying at the crowne plaza where they have free wireless internet on every floor. Today I went and did the pokemon tcg demo for a free box of deoxys cards that had a few packs in it (its the one you can buy at target) They have a regular big modified tournament going each day for free, as well as regular 8 man single elimination modified tournaments. I played in 3 of the 8 single elim tournaments tody and won one of them. Origins is strangely empty with little magic events and apparently no yugioh of any kind. Pokemon is the only really big TCG event but the arena looks great. I'll post more tomorrow, ttyl.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Oh and Benlugias plane was delayed for like 6 hours, while he was still on it. They just now took off and he won't be getting here until very late with even less sleep then I will have for the prof cup. Poor Ben.

Dangit, and the kids say I live on the pc now...Wait until Sat evening, I'll be glued to this seat! I cant wait, they are stoked beyond belief right now! They are in the hotel play testing, & Im sure by the morning, they will all have new decks...lol I wish they had live web cams going on there, that would be awesome! I would pay a pretty penny to be able to watch it all weekend since I cant be there! Oh well, updates here & on the phone will have to do!
Good Luck every one! Specially TaskForceSTL!!
