LostGar Hype Discussion - IN HERE ONLY

I believe that BM's witty commentaries are one of the few things that give us all hope for the gym's future.

If you say that the 'gym is bad Baby Mario, then why do you post on every single thread numerous times? Do you have anything better to do?

It's just something to do while I wait for you to post your latest format-breaking list.

Honestly, anyone who thinks I was really saying the Gym was bad when it was pretty obvious I was just making a little joke needs to lighten up.

Or maybe I accidently touched a nerve?

I know, you need to take a joke alex2K, If you can't, you may as well block BM, and all the other funny people on here.
Anyway, let's get back on topic.

So is vileplume the way to play lostgar?
I still think the AMU version is best, but what do you guys think?

Wait, There's an AMU version of Lostgar? Like, with all the AMU X cards in there? If so, how is that working out?

Well I can hint upon the sarcasm, although they way you said it was perhaps a bad choice of words? Either way, maybe it is you who needs to lighten up?

I personally agree with this, i've also tested with a bunch of players, maybe i'm just terrible and bad at building lists, i built a straight LostGar deck with no techs and a bunch of times i can pull off the hurl and win the game if i can get the gengar in t1 or t2, otherwise they would just get sniped by garchomps.

your argument has committed so many informal fallacies that i dont even know where to start.......

but... you are wrong.
just flat-out wrong.
you may have the opinion that the deck doesnt work well... but you are claiming FAR too much

lol u gaize i liek tested dis dek out in liek 5 gamez @ leaugues nd lost 2 so itz sooo bad n dumb!

Yeah...

About its results in the ECC - Keep in mind that it didnt have much testing time. Tested decks with small improvements tend to do great at the ECC - Then later on at States comes the new batch.
2 years ago, Dusknoir with Dialga G won the equivalent of the ECC. European states were largely taken by more traditional SP builds. This may exactly happen the same way this time around. We've seen Lostgar around - but the lists maybe weren't as refined as possible.

Even I can make a Lostgar that works one time in 15.

Sometimes, it's not the deck.

I posted on the last page that I was wondering what was meant by "Speed Lostgar," and I'm afraid that all the rest of the posts have mostly been off-topic. Does someone happen to have an answer to my question (what is Speed Lostgar) please?

^
I don't know, but I assume it's just LostGar meant to go really quickly - maybe with a Trainer Engine.

Isn't Europe an entire continent? First off, I'm pretty sure Torterra won NATIONALS, not CONTINENTALS. Secondly, European players do very well at Worlds events, even though Worlds is held in a location that is near impossible for most of them to get to without an invite (meanwhile there are Americans far as the eye can see). Also, I would like to point out that Gyarados was first successfully used by players from France, and has since taken the North American meta by storm.

Rethink your point.
I hate to Break your little Bubble, but that deck is trash as well...U discard cards to be good at this game??????? Then Anything is good...sorry,but Lost world does flip this metagame for a loop...I can win by Seekering an Removing your pokemon/techs from your hand???? an on another note I can not take there meta to heart while i build for tournys. Not being a Party Crasher, but Gyarados lost to almost everything now an didn't do well at are nat's the next season after worlds....yes they made one deck to how many others??????Nothing else has came from the Uk.
Sorry to be an a$$ or a Bigot, but Remember Luxchomp??? It took a whole Season to see how good it truly was,Just let Lost World have the same chance before you say its crap. BTW my lost world list is 10-0Vs Vilgar 7-2 vs luxchomp an 10-5 vs Dialgachomp.

so please rethink your Points:thumb:

What has discarding cards got to do with whether a deck is good or bad? If the deck works that way, it works that way. I don't get your point. Why does that particular mechanic make a deck bad? Is every deck that discards cards to attack also bad?

I don't see how you can argue that Gyarados hasn't been successful. It's not dominated like Luxchomp, but it has been winning tournaments everywhere since Worlds 2009. We will have to see if Lostgar can do the same.

Gyarados came from France.

It wasn't time that made Luxchomp BDIF, it was the reprint of DCE. If Lostgar gets a card that improves it in the same way that DCE did to Luxchomp, then yeah.

See your not getting why its a "alright deck" your taking what I'm saying out of Context, Gyrarados wins on Discarding, Only way to win is Discarding,You lose if u cant....So u tell me the thought Process with a "Auto Pilot" Deck:frown: to me its trash,When i play Vs it, I Wreck it with ease.

It needs more????? can you look at the Cards in the Current Meta an tell me it needs more???
I can tell you don't Build Decks or at least know how to put techs in your deck.
Can you Explain how it loses in this Meta an i will accept how its a bad deck:thumb:
