Am I the only one who doesn't like the art? I can't find a single pack or deck that I like the art on.

On the other hand I'm really excited about some of the contents of this set. So many neat cards & so many with potential. I'll easily forgive the art based on what we know of the cards!

Honestly I could care less about the artwork on the packs, but they do need a reboot, but I do like to see great artwork on the cards themselves.

I love the artwork as well on the packages.

This set definitely looks good and it will interesting how it impacts the current meta-game.
 
Is it just me, or do these pack arts look suspiciously similar to those from Emerald?

geez, people. he just said that it's possible that they are not in there. none of us know what's going to be in these sets, and pokemon, usa has had some zany logic in the past year.
 
I'll be really surprised to see what those extra 20 cards are (mentioned on Pokebeach) that won't be from DP4, and won't be from the 2008 Trainer Package in Japan. It'd be nice if it were like old trainer reprints. On the topic of new trainer reprints, I'd love to see reprints of Roseanne's Research, Bebe's Search, Night Maintenance, Pokedex, and Felicity's Drawing (or whatever it's called). People are going to need oodles of these good trainers when the format shifts over.

Okay, I don't know about you guys, but when I get to league this Saturday I'm trading all of my Gardilade contents away!!

Can't wait for Buck's Training, or the whole set!!!
 
I don't think it's logical to say that this set will destroy GG/Mag. Sure, they will probably be hurt in some way, but they will also get some of the cool cards like Phione, etc, etc, so they could be strengthened too. I feel GG/Mag will still be as popular, but 1 or 2 decks will rise from the set that will actually stand up to GG/Mag and the metagame will become 4-5 decks instead of 2-3.

if you want to trade away all your gardies/lv.xs, be my guest, just don't expect GG to just disappear when the next set comes out.
 
OOOO this set is coming out close to my wedding anvirsery...^^. I agre with prime that gg/magmortar will not disappear totally, but they will surely get some competition.

And that's when the village people realized that they were still around for Regionals.

Can't wait for this set, it's going to be freakin' SWEET. Ugh, It's been TOO long of a wait for Garchomp Lv. X. I'm glad we're getting Pory. Lv. X too! AMAZING!
