Nah I didn't get to meet you, King. It's a shame so few people have an eye for how good that deck is, as well as Lucario in general. I STILL disagree with your matchup, bud! But hey, you outplayed the field to get what you did. Great goin'. ;)
 
GJ, KG! I didn't end up running my Mario deck. It just wasn't working for me Thursday and Friday during testing and fun matches. I didn't want my bad record to fuel more 'not a deck' comments. :) But wouldn't you know that when I went back to it after dropping on Sat and again on Sunday it ran like a dream. I think I just was not supposed to play so that I could stay near the Juniors and watch my boys.

I faced the other mario in top 32 and got thrashed (stupid 10 fluffy berrys and warp points!). And lol to vegeta, lucario made at least 4 top cuts at nats. Nice job Tom.
 
King Gengar i know i was BASHING mario before nats and i had a reason to but you and emmanuel play that deck like NONE other.....gj at nats:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:, and emmanuel also got top16 losing to Chuck's Banette which is a sorta bad mattchup...imo

Boy, was I proud at Nationals to see so many Mario's being played! :biggrin:
 
Tom that is an amazing accomplishment at Nats!!! It is truely amazing to see how far you have come in such a short time playing. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Congrats Tom. You deserved this! While it's not the BDIF, Mario certainly is NOT horrible as so many otehr people say, and it's looking REALLY good for next year.

Hope to see you next year, and 100% agree with your slop :p

James: Great to see you again. Sorry me, you, and Tyler couldn't spend more time. I was SO tired, and I had to get back home on Sunday. Eight hours driving, after the T-16 loss! Intense!! Thanks dude, for the props. Mario World Winner and I faint dead away!~

when I first heard about Lucario/Champ (Professor Elm on the gym mentioning he had a deck like this) and then seeing your Deck Post, I could see it was a good deck from the beginning.
no idea where the bashing came from, ('specially since people on the gym seemed to like it)
but... way to prove the bashers wrong man :thumb:
