Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Maryland: March 1, 2008

problem with targeting one or two people, is that you usually get beat out by random stuff and thus you never even get to face the deck you wanted to beat.

I agree, but if your deck flows well enough it should beat random stuff. Anyway, I'll probably just play an archetype that has an okay matchup against Hurricane.

And that's why I don't care if ppl tech agaist me. The chances are they will never btl me, and most likly they will be to teched up to beat anything else. Go on tech against me and see if I care. lol

Hey guys im kinda new to the area, but i will most def be there for this!
Always nice to have a "new" player. The natives will be ready to take you on!
-----------

I sat down with LJ and Robbie last week and made some gueses about the event attendance and what kind of decks we'll see in the top cut.

LJ's guess, was of course, Gardelade or Banette and "over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAND!"

Robbie said something totally unheard of that will be enhanced by Great Encounters, and 50 (That's way too low).

I predict that there will be at least one Fire Monkey in the top cut, and I don't like to give attendance estimates cos I'll end up kickin' myself for it.

So, what do you predict for attendance, and what kind of decks do you expect to see in the top cut?

G&G and Mamortar varients will make top cut, because they bothe are good decks, and by numbers.
Other decks that I think will be in top cut are Hurricane, a few anti Gallade/Magmortar decks, at least 1 Blissy, Banette and some new decks with ge cards.

Oh and we can't for get PikaHatter.

Attendance will probably be around 90-110.

I predict MD States will have around 120 people. I will attempt to flood VA and MD states with so many people from my leagues, probability will have to give way to saying that it will not be possible for anyone else to make the top 4  (except in maybe the Masters).

For decks, I expect to see Nick playing whatever Mike makes for him :tongue:mad:Nick

Of course, Virginia attendance will be lower than MD's because Aardvarks are too scared to face Virginia compitition at its home . Aren't aardvarks tired enough of my leaguers always invading their events that they want to take the battles to Virginia?.

SuperWooper, think about it: people from my league (have you seen my numbers?), a few from the gainesville league, totoro and maybe a few from his league, all those who normally are on staff at VA events making this the only event they get to play in, maybe the Virginia beach crew, the West Virginia crew, aardvarks (how does a league go from 30 people to 90 people in one season?), Rockville leaguers, and tournament regulars. Why not? Leagues do great things for tournament numbers and Glen Burnie is well positioned.

@totoro: I'll take you out in single elimination :thumb:

These arguments of who is in SE are dumb. I win the whole thing, the end. Who cares how I got their (or is it there, or they're?)

Good grief, what do they teach you in school? No teacher I had would have passed us if we didn't know the difference between there, their, and they're.
POP may care if you got there by use of practices that violate SotG.

*facepalms*

Maybe I should've put this smiley with it:wink:.

Yeah, the smiley helps

Time For Pain, next time I see you, you're learning the difference, as well as the difference between paranthesis, hyphon, and dash; when you can use a semi-colon; the difference between though, through, and thorough (which was on my 11th grade SOL); and why saying something like "everyone needs to bring their lunch to the tournament" is incorrect. Somewhere out there is a Chemistry teacher who is saying "that's not one of my students"

Hoppin' on the SPAM train--SC, that's hyphen and parenthesis (or parentheses if you're using more than 1)
For the record, I really didn't teach TFP!
